Well if their latest podcast is to be believed, they simply can't afford to make Psychonauts 2, even if they wanted to.

Ah! That's uncanny.

AND GIN. (Probably.)

Love this image... but October 14th has been and gone. There's still rumours of big things, though.

I just got this? So very good

Is everything ending with question marks now?

Yeah, but did you like it more than a beer and a pizza?

I hope the above conversation didn't spoil Drive for those with poor self-control who haven't seen the movie... It's BRILLIANT and should be seen ASAP. I recently re-watched a couple of classics I hadn't seen in years: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - A (sort of) post-modernist, buddy-movie from the guy who pretty much invented the genre, with an added film-noir twist. Very clever and witty (beware those who dislike snappy dialogue), and has nice twists and surprises for those who have seen too many movies and know tropes off by heart. A cool Robert Downey Jr movie before he became cool again. Loved it! Withnail & I - Holy crap. This was far funnier than I had remembered. My first time watching it was spent feeling revolted, but this time I into a lot more. Kind of like The Big Lebowski -- it took a few watches to understand it. Either way, hugely enjoyable movie.

Yes, it's clearly a woman, but she's goddamn freaky.

Wow. I think it works. I don't know how or why, but it does for me!

I've been reliably informed they like gin, tea, and cats. Although not all at once. And now with our shitty, evil, horrible government shutting down all the (public) libraries, there's going to be gin, tea, and cat-loving people on the streets.

Hopefully you'll think twice before casually insulting the librarian community in the future. Have a well made, and moderately chucklesome, video: il-7z85lABo

Let me just underscore the hash we've made of this topic.

Bloody PC gamers... I wonder why publishers don't like the PC as a gaming platform. On the Xbox/PS3, Costume Quest is $15 without the DLC, and $20 with. AND NOBODY COMPLAINED.

I didn't take it that way at all, considering the alternative.

I know a lovely person/librarian and feel compelling to defend them.

Does this video contain spoilers?

The fact that I can't tell if it's a man or a woman freaks me out.

Drive is one of the best cinema experiences I've had this year. I loved it

And all the effort: http://al1ninegrandquest.angelfire.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/xxxxFORTRESSxxxx (They even went to the trouble of making the Angelfire site in Word 2000 in order to increase its authenticity.)

It was great, and I was buying into it, until the "voice acting" began (1.40). Then I had to turn it off. It totally blew it for me... People shouldn't be allowed to make a video if they can't tell the difference between good acting and bad acting. I don't understand how someone can spend tens, if not hundreds, of hours making a video, and then let it fail on something so cheap and easy as someone who can convincingly act. It's especially odd because the narrator is so good. Sorry. Just a pet peeve. Update: Ok, I kept watching. It's actually very good. Very well made. Some clever things. But the .

Interesting Batman and Robin reassessment. I've never seen it, but I definitely think that Batman has turned dark to the point of silliness. (Although I love the Nolan movies.) So it'd be interesting to see it through a playful prism, now we've finally got the ultra-serious Batman that we apparently all wanted.
