I like Edge too. Are there any other comparably good gaming magazines in the UK other than said magazine? One doesn't really keep me entertained for an entire month whilst on the toilet train.

I noticed this in last month's PCG myself. The Alyx expansion rumour seems to be going strong in many communities, and was in full circulation even before PCGUK included it. Perhaps it was an early leak, or perhaps it's complete bullshit. Either way, I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

The repetitive nature of the game is exactly what drove myself and many more totally insane.

There's also a slightly fixed-up version of the above movie on razputin.net, which is of a smaller file size (no quality/dimensions loss though) and has the contrast/brightness brought back, since the original distribution kind of lost it for some reason. It really is great, though. The music in the game is even better than what I was expecting (which was a lot), particularly when the subtle choir comes in. I'm a sucker for choirs. Oh man. Also, Coach Oleander. Best. Character. Ever.

What really impressed me was the plants that reflect the theme of the level. Having bullet-reel and dogtag foliage is just too cool to describe.

At least it isn't suffering the same fate as the GameCube.

Quake is a bag of bollocks anyway. Now, if he were to come kick my arse in Day of Defeat or the mighty Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, I may hold some respect for him!

I've never smoked a fag, but I have tried out a cigar. It was about as pleasant as scratching the top layer of skin off of my face with a razor, splashing vinegar all over it, and then launching my entire head into a bucket of boiling hot fat.

The worst phone game in the history of ever is that Worms one. It's pretty much a port of Worms World Party. A port with two weapons, horrible jumping, one map, a hugely oversized scale, incredibly bad weapons physics, and a complete lack of fun in any sense of the word.

Haha, Huz is so right. I reckon that our predominant adventure influences have made us totally embelish and savour every last detail in games, which is why Half-Life 2 really shines to such people. I mean, it's a great FPS in its own right, but the sheer level of depth and detailing in every single area is astounding. God damn, this game is so cool.

As I recall, the game was set to easy by default. I had to change it to medium.

That is immensely cool. The only thing that bothers me is the whole floaty bit above the background (Raz + the title) isn't really vertically centred between the top of the box and the crap at the bottom nicely. The box screams "I'm cool" though, with Raz looking all evil, which might help it sell even better!
