How do you kill the beeyatch? (Fable spoilers)

No! He's as adoring of me as ever! I lavish him with all sorts of gifts regularly, he gives me gifts of clothing and weapons, and he always wants a 'nice lie down'*. Funny thing is, he's either at home or off to the tavern, nothing else to do after retiring from being a schoolteacher, I guess. * Sex. -
How do you kill the beeyatch? (Fable spoilers)

Okay, I went back and reloaded. First I made sure she was walking around town, then I gave her a crapload of gifts (perfume, red roses, diamonds, etc.) to ensure she wouldn't divorce me ('cause I've been neglecting her). I then got her drunk on 3 beers so she wouldn't try running away, found a guard and punched him and soon had all 3 guards after me. I ran to Lady Grey, who was stumbling around totally pissed, and kept trying to dodge the guards' assaults to get them to accidently hit her instead. Soon she was dead! But ........ ....... nothing happened. I didn't inherit the town nor did it immediately go on the market to buy! Shit! At least the beeyatch is dead and the everyone in Bowerstone North isn't scared of me ('cause I wasn't the one who wasted her). -
Of course, you'll never know. Stay away from me!

They're phallic shaped. End of discussion.

Yeah, I read the Gamespy preview earlier. Whoah, from that it sounds like a relative of Fable ! The A.I. description got me excited, and the moral alignment, consequences of your decisions and actions. A lot of it mirrors Fable's, so I want! And of course, the graphics. I could definitely snag the Xbox2 expressly for this game alone!

Crappy design pervading quality titles
Intrepid Homoludens replied to Roderick's topic in Video Gaming
I think part of the problem also what there was this stupid and ultimately unnecessary comparison. Why the hell should these to games - TR and Outcast - automatically be pitted against each other? Each had its own strengths and weaknesses. -
You're into hermaphrodites?

It's soliloquy. I never did get into the FF series. I hate turn based combat.

LOL! The Japanese culture and psychology are weird. Simple as that. They tend to fetishize pre-pube schoolgirls (complete in their uniforms), boys that look very feminine (i.e. androgyny), and babies (huge embryonic eyes on 'grownup' characters). Blonde and blue eyed 'asian' characters have this strangely erotic quality to them as well. It's inevitable - and even redundant to say - that these things will make their way into games.

Monkeys are in and of themselves neutral, but ulitmately rendered 'interesting', 'cute', 'funny'....or merely 'endearing' in general by the culture of humans. That many developers and games have monkeys as nomenclature, mascot, or character is more an indication of their projections on the monkey, the responibility is on them to justify or at the very least explain their position of such sentiments.

We're terribly sorry, jp, but you must have known how titillatingly volatile the Thumb would be when you signed up.

Like me? Hell, I have time for 50 hour epics! Everyone does, but they delude themselves into thinking they don't. But that depends, of course, on the game itself. Many games nowadays, at least according to the hardcore players, clock in around 15-20 hours, some claim they beat it in 10-15 hours. That's fine and dandy, but those games were probably designed to be run through. For me I prefer to savour most any game - take in the beautiful world, walk not run, interact with every single character if possible, look at stuff.... I have every right to, it's my money. What I suspect is that many gamers feel obliged to 'wolf down' the latest games so they can stay in sync with their gamer friends and not feel left out talking about how they finished Doom 3 two days after buying it. When I finally finished Fable last week I clocked in at over 50 hours. Was I happy? Sh!t yeah! I let that damn world of Albion wash over me like molasses (as opposed to water) and I often would stop to just enjoy the views. But my enjoyment with also had a lot to do with how much good content was crammed in, there was always something to do and things to see. Plus I plan on replaying, this time as a different kind of hero and all the planning and decisions that entails. The same applies to Grand Theft Auto 3, Deus Ex, and similar titles. I say as long as there's meaningful stuff to do and see, let the games be longer to encourage you to linger (but not necessarily all games, of course).

Is this some kind of conspiracy? I got up today, tried logging on, only to find out my computer won't get online. I checked everything - Internet connection, cables, router, even did a system restore back to last week - but nothing. I've been going back and forth b/t my sister's and niece's rig (both of which are fine). WTF is going on? I also checked for any background programs running that may be interfering with the connection and discovered several under the category of 'SP2'. Shit, does this have anything to do with it? I've been avoiding anything SP2 from downloading but apparently my XP hasn't. Any clues from y'all would be greatly appreciated.

S.H.P. says he was genetically designed to be clean shaven, thus will never need upkeep in that department and sadly cannot recommend any good razor.

Super Hairless Poozie recommends Computer Games magazine - less ads, more straightforward coverage. He also likes Computer Gaming World, but not as much.
