Fuck... I think I broke it

Why doesn't it have an on/off switch? That's retarded. -

WHAT?!! I thought overheating game consoles were the thing of the past! Like, during the days of the Intellivision. WTF is it with Sony? Forget it! I am NOT ever getting the PS2 Kate Moss version. Not that I ever planned on getting it. -

Why did you need to use standby mode in the first place? Playstation consoles have a reputation for being frail. I remember my Playstation's (PS1) controller, how fucking delicate it was. I wore it out, and I am not one of those who throw their controllers at the wall if they can't beat a boss. It just.....wore out with regualr use ! In this case I think Sony has much to learn from Microstrong. -
Sounds more like linguistic fellatio to me. Welcome to Da Thumb, girlfriend! Feel free to bitch slap some of the testosterone pregnant d00ds here. But be careful, some of them just might like it and start following you around like clumsy puppies. And please be nice to Kingz. He seems like the ultimate male bitch, but deep down inside he's warm and cuddly. Or so I'd like to think.

Too bad for those retards who don't, because FGM does actually pinpoint some VERY IMPORTANT SHIT, MAN! For those who don't:

The Cold Hotspot: Part 3 - Selling ice to Eskimos is coming soon.

I agree. Syberia got under my skin emotionally, and that had more to do with me than the game, yet the game in that sense was a catalyst. However, I hated the lack of things to do in the gameworld, it so damn stingy! If only it had more interactivity and details as per actual gameplay.

Congrats Ben, our own little SEGA-employed pirate

Congratulations, Ben. -
I vote for Angelina Jolie. She'd look fucking hot in a dinner jacket being surrounded by beautiful women.

I love it!! I even started a thread about it but SiN beat me to it so I locked the thread! And Kingz, you're a moron for not being able to figure it out right away, but I love you regardless. Those little green men are awesome. I'm reminded of my flared pants wearing Brady Bunch look days when I was a kid and used to play Battlezone, Tempest, and Centipede in the booth at the cornershops.

Title: Darwinia genre: action/strategy platform: PC developer: Introversion Software (U.K.) game site 8-) Good god, this one's just damn cute and fun! It's from the same guys who brought us Uplink. Here's the skinny: Battlezone + Centipede + strategy war games + strategy building games + 80s retro + WTF else! Demo, you ask? Well, I dunno, you sure you wanna download something so big? I mean, it's a whopping 11MB!!! LOL!! Definitely a kick ass 2 hours of great fun I had with it. You may love it, you may not. But you won't know til you try! Oh, and it's not perfect, really. There are some clumsy spots here and there (pale tutorial, inefficient controls), but it's a cool idea, cool looking.

Saw it. Loved it. Niece and nephew own it. I want my own goddamn cat bus. -
WTF. You guys, Tim had better not see this thread now.

Hey, lailoken and syntheticgerbil! Chill, please, both of you, okay? It's perfectly fine if one doesn't like something and the other does, for whatever reasons. At least respect each other's decisions. What themes are explored? How deep are the stories? Are they difficult to find in the U.S.? -
And the PS2 answered her cell phone and then announced, "I'm sorry, I have to go. I have to fly to Paris now for a photoshoot for French Vogue. Ciao."

Don't tell me. The Xbox took the most hits because it was hugeass, yet it still emerged without a scratch and played beautifully. The Cube merely spun around with every hit as if on an axis but the drive wouldn't open anymore. And as for the PS2 - one can never be too thin, no?

Who did that animation in Kill Bill Vol. 1 where they show what happened to O-Ren Ishii's parents? I loved that one!!! -

I never did get into anime. Seriously, I do love the ideas, themes, and issues explored in the movies (I liked the idea behind Princess Monopokeman or whatever that was called). But to be blunt I can't stand those HUGE-ASS eyes and that every-fucking-other female heroine looks like a prepubescent schoolgirl in a uniform, and that the men look like women dressed in drag. And this whole thing about Japanese men getting erections over these blatantly obvious young girl characters.... -
So guys, what you seem to be telling me is that, for the most part, you love adventure games but have moved on to other genres like FPSs, RPGs, and action/adventures because you got bored with the adventure game genre cranking out the same things over and over the past several years? Is this because other games have given you new things to experience and enjoy? And it's not only in graphics and tech, but also in terms of such things like quality of writing and originality? Another thing is that a lot of hardcore adventurers seem to stereotype you guys - or rather, the average console gamer or for the most part, non-adventure gamer - as intellectually inferior. They seem to think that those who don't like adventure games can't handle the cerebrally challenging puzzles. How do you feel about this?
-
Wow. You peepz seriously need to post all this at AdventureGamers. Or even better, JustAdventure+. Talk about giving asskicking where asskicking is due. And while we're at it, tell me. What exactly do you all think is missing from adventure games today that, if added, would make you interested in playing them again? Is it just graphics? Should there be other technology that could be tapped into, like artificial intelligence, 3D sound puzzles, etc.? Should typical 'adventure-y' puzzles be thrown out and new, innovative challenges be conceived? What about how they're marketed? Should more adventure games be made for consoles (partly for the mothers of those 13-year-old Xbox whores who hate violence but would still wanna game)?

Why not just buy a new PS2 controller and when you're all done with the game sell the controller to your friend? He needs a new one anyway.

What is a Dungon? Is that like some vessel that holds horse shit?
