It's all I can afford now, so it's not like I have a choice.

Hmmm. I found one for under $150. What do you guys think of the ATI RADEON 9600 XT? I'm really gonna get myself all broke now, but it should help my PC gaming for the next year or so, what with titles like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Psychonauts, Dreamfall, etc. coming up.

My sister's computer (which is where I play my PC games now) has everything above (I own a Thrustmaster pad) except for the current graphics card. Anyone know where I can find one that costs $150 or less (preferably an ATI Radeon)? Well, that or I could simply just get the game for Xbox. In that case, anyone know if they're gonna do some free downloadable PC content that'll make it worth getting the PC version instead?

NPR's take on World of Warcraft

Blizzard said they're going to give more stuff soon, what that means I don't know. But surely there's a possibility of getting more in an expansion pack or downloadable content. -

That could mean anything. What exactly do you mean? -

I stopped watching tv (regularly) at least 10 years ago. And sometimes I happen to catch what my family's watching and I smile, knowing that I've missed nothing. I can't wait for Jade Empire to come out. -
Just noticed it at Gamer's Hell. Anyone play this one yet? It's not that recent, released in Europe a while back but not N/A yet. I'm downloading right now, watched a couple gameplay movies. It's heavily story driven, yes?

Even when I did understand the reason behind it, I was still peripherally upset when they decided not to include child murders in Fable. Imagine how it could be, when you choose to kill a little girl, and the game's A.I. generates an unavoidable subplot out of it that haunts you for the rest of your hero's life. A few years after you had murdered her, you wander back into her village, only to find the ENTIRE townsfolk attacking you with pitchforks and torches, literally grabbing you to lynch you in the square, right in front of a memorial statue of the dead girl itself. And you may be all powerful then, but you can only defend yourself so much, how long can you last against the onslaught that even a cheat code wasn't made to withstand?

Football is poetry?

Oh yeah. That.

I had a great time with the game. But all the stories, especially the subplots, felt disjointed compared to the first KoTOR. I played the first game 3 times in a row and explored all the planets in different order each time, and each time the plots felt solid and integrated. However, in KoTOR II, which I played only once so far, it seemed that some threads were missing or not connected properly. It felt as if there were a right order of planets you needed to go through for more cohesiveness and that I happened to not choose it.

It never worked out with me. .....

He's not much older than I, either. But then I never grew up, what's the point?

Hey, it's a very good game despite its blatantly rushed state. I had a great time with it. Quality-wise, however, the first KoTOR felt much more balanced and integrated on all levels, including story, subplots, and level design.

I remapped the keys. What does CTRL do?

You'd think at least the demo would allow a little tutorial.
