Hi! I was late to the start-using-your-real-name-instead-of-a-space-ghost-reference-on-the-internet party. I should maybe post more often! Please date me.
  6. New version of the main site!

I think Doug's new PHP stuff includes using cleaner (non-filename-using) URLs. There's probably a controller file that manages URLs in the site's viscera somewhere, which makes standard directory/file things not work as they used to. Doug might want to think about setting it so "index.php" redirects to the mainpage for legacy support, though
  7. The All New XBox Gamertag Exchange Thread!

    Hi guys I'm new.
  8. Life

I'm 26 today, reaching the outer edge of my mid-twenties. I've been too busy lately to put much thought into whether I'm where I thought I would/should be or anything like that. Thinking about it now, though...I guess it's good that I am in a career-esque job currently, I can make rent and bills and save a little bit each month. I like where I live. I have been dating someone for a couple of months now and I think it's going well. So, contentment? Sure. Let's see how that works out. I wish I'd had some time to put a little party together though. Monkey Island ruined everything!

  13. Quake Live

Anyone still playing this? I'm kind of surprised; I've managed to jump in for a round or two almost every evening of late. What's more, I've been managing to, like, win, several free-for-all matches. I'm certain that that's a result of Quake Live's rather excellent skill matching system, but it's still very unnerving to be rewarded by multiplayer Quake instead of punished. But yeah, I like it a lot still! However, my friends list is still hovering around 3 or 4, so please add Metallus if you're in there playing!

  17. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hi! Well, some of us have been here for a half-decade now, but the podcast is a new thing, and so the community's definitely experiencing a renaissance as a result . So, welcome to that!
  18. The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)
