I thought the first review was by Maxim, giving it a 3/5. Can't find the review, but I saw it reported here, about a week ago...

I don't understand "Yufster".
-
I still kind of enjoy "Tidings to you, Nerevarine," though.

# Sorry, but I have fucked up badly, I am prick!!

# <-- comment, man. (Super fun fact 2000! This is erroneous information, and to cover up my ignorance I proceeded to delete the post, breaking the game. Fun!)

Edgy to the max, Spielberg makes a movie where the aliens are out to harm us!

I really like how they map the Mario games to show where the pipe passages line up in each level. ALSO: Woot.

As we've discussed before, I'm disgustingly lightsided for life. As far as our discussion months ago is concerned, there are several lightside force powers I came to appreciate in playing KOTOR 2. Gogo Force Enlightenment.

Erm, one small thing I guess still bugs me: I think it might be because figured out a really nicely set-up character or something (after a couple of lemons), but I found the bosses to be much easier than I anticipated, especially Nihilus.

Due to some bug, I automatically got enrolled in House Hlallu when I uncovered the plot to assassinate the Duke. After I beat the main quest, all the cool shit I got to beat Dagoth Ur made the game very easy, so for a couple days I was able to stay interested, but I was ready to move to another game after that. I recommend it.

I met a dwarf. The last living one. So ha.

Christ sake man, just play the main quest already. Heh. It took me about 4 characters until I got one that suited what I wanted to do in the game, really. Avoid levelling up too much though, or levelling up right when it tells you to...get those attribute multipliers first. Enchanting an item generally involves joining the Mages' Guild and getting enough skill to trap souls. You have to buy a Calm Humanoid spel, not to be confused with scrolll (people in the mages guild in various cities sell different spells), and then pay a mage to apply it to an item (rings and amulets are good) and be sure to have a soul gem at the ready to use. GameFAQs is worth reading about this stuff, I don't know how clear this info is to people who haven't tried it before, plus I've had a few beers at this point in the evening...

If you really don't want to start over, you'd better invest in an enchanted item that casts "Calm Humanoid". Personally I'd start over though.

Deliberate, yes, but not well-engineered. I was not expecting to play the last level of the game as the Heretic...I mean Arbiter. At least in all the cutting that went on with KOTOR 2 they managed to have an ending that made sense. I dunno, I agree with the laggy beginning but I really enjoyed just about everything else in the game a lot.

Hate to think how much your skills would atrophe at level 33 (might be just marked for death by the guards anyway)...Why haven't you beaten this game yet?

Join the thieves guild, and you'll be able to get your get your name cleared, for a substantial amount of money (half of your bounty, I think).
