No, elmuerte. That's exactly why I said what I said. Your standard glib posts attempting to make us see the light with zero support are wearing a little thin, at least in my opinion. Adventure gaming is a learned trait as the games tend to follow a pretty standard formula for puzzle solving. People who don't play a lot of these types of games aren't stupid for getting stuck or not knowing to look at everything and talk to everything and throw Max at everything. Thanks for trying, though.

As an aside, I had to help a card-carrying member of Mensa through pretty much every stage of Culture Shock. People who don't play a ton of adventure games don't often catch the familiar formula.

It's up. Go get it! Edit: Wow, sniped

Yes.

Texts are still considered annoying by some small sliver of the population.

See, I was thinking along those lines too. Hopefully we can all put the viral marketers and clandestine PR types into one forum somewhere and have them bicker it out while we find other things more worthwhile to bitch about for free. Steam? Job Interviews? Kingz's beard?

I like this cross-section, very entertaining to see it all together These days, though, I wonder if some of the posters on popular forums are being paid to say dumb, bad things about other consoles.

Kind of a semi-t-rex-arm posture when running. Loosen up, buddy! PS: Looks really good all told. When it is actually a game, I will probably be too scared to play it. If they have a sandbox mode where you can mess with the weather forever, though, I'm in.

I got a lot more play out of Morrowind. For some reason, I was more compelled to do the main quest in Oblivion, and not much else. After beating that, I really didn't feel like taking orders from these characters. Perhaps Bethesda was able to convey more with text than they were with high-tech AI and voice-acted shenanegans.

"Game journos go where the wind blows?" aka console war thread #137

My thoughts: It's rather difficult to get back to the Thumbs main page once you go to the forums. Maybe it shouldn't be, since this place is pretty fresh. -
I've seen Little Miss Sunshine twice in theatres. Voluntarily! :yep:

The Meat Circus isn't that hard, Jesus.
-
Shenmue 2 is the best worst game I've played, I think.
-
Are we talking about this game? Doctor Jesus should totally get optioned.

I still don't like that logo. Man! fest, o?

Noooooooooooooooooooo! Heh, I don't know anything else related to this thread, but I thought what I mentioned was worth mentioning. Ass.

Puzzle Pirates is a game that seems to be split pretty evenly genderwise, and might even have a majority female playerbase. Rather than this statistic alone, I was surprised at the amount of regular players I talked to there who didn't come from a gaming background before starting to play that game. It also seems like there are more females who play male characters in that game than vice versa, which is probably unique among MMORPGs.

You've changed, bro.

...didn't finish that sentence, apparently. I want to like Billy and Mandy, but I am mostly annoyed at it. I guess I'd like Foster's more if Blu wasn't part of the show, and I was 12. Heh. The art style wins, though.

I'll give it another shot later on, but my first run was a bit iffy. I just don't like getting lost quite so much and having arbitrary walls all over the place. The sick kid went missing too, I gave up when his health hit zero, wherever he was...

I was sort of repulsed by both, but ended up feeling sorry for the PS3 lady. I might not get either console (edit: I'm quite certain that I'm not getting a PS3), but that's neither here nor there. Maybe this was directed at the Xbox360 jocko/game-o crowd.

Been looking for something new to play, Oblivion's post-plot missions are only good for about 5 minutes of distraction, lately. Thanks for the good news!
