Yeah, and I think I might have a 10th now too. But, I agree. I'm guessing that a lot of stuff has changed since it was first shown. This is obvious even from what IGN said way back when, "The game is organized more or less in 16 levels, but each level is actually inside the mind of sixteen different disturbed individuals." So, it's anyones guess what's been dropped, what's been modified, and what's completely new. Oh, and you mean e3 2002, right?

Right, I know about him, but what I don't get is why he's standing in a room that looks exactly like a room inside of, presumably, his head. I mean, compare the screen I just posted to this one. They look identical except the second one has figments in it, so it has to be in someone's mind. The only thing I can think of is that either a)there's a version of himself inside his mind, or b)there's a version of the room he's in inside his mind. This screenshot proves that that is infact how he looks in the real world.

I was just over at the POP2 site checking to see if there was anything new. I noticed that the had a new clip up under 'other videos'. I clicked on it to watch it, it asked for my age, and so I gave it to them. It then told me that I couldn't watch the clip. What the heck? I checked the html to see if I could download it directly, but they have some Javascript thing going on to hide the address. So, I deleted all of my cookies, blocked all new ones, and tried again. This time I told it that I was a couple years older (I'm about 17 1/2 right now), and it let me watch the clip. It turned out to just be the art direction clip that was up on GameSpot a while ago, but you'd think it was hard porn or something the way they're protecting it. What's the deal?

I figured it out. I don't know why it took me so long. Those weird floating things are figments. You know, figments as in, "Rise up in rank as you collect figments of other people’s imaginations, sort their emotional baggage, clear out their mental cobwebs, and crack open their memory vaults." So they are in everyone's mind. There are several other screenshots where you can see them too. So, now I'm just left with being confused about who exactly that tall guy is...

Yes, I'm as confused as hell. I probably should stop posting this crap, but I keep hoping that someone will be kind of enough to straighten me out. I know we've been over those screens of that really tall Napoleon-like guy before. I think someone told me that they thought that that guy was the guy who thinks he is Napoleon. That being why he's all decked out in old military stuff, and extremely tall (the opposite of Napoleon of course). So, that all makes sense. He's in the real world, in the asylum, thinks he's Napoleon even though he's really tall, and he's play some war game with the peices. I mean, that makes good sense, right? But apparently that's not the case as now we're got weird floating stuff that looks strangely similar to some of the stuff that may or may not be from the black valvet guy. So, yes, I'm thoroughly confused, and tempted to just trash all of the galleries I've set up until I actually know what's what.

Those aren't the final textures on him are they? That star looks a bit suspect sort of like his face in those screens that were leaked a while back. Also, what's up with that screen that Bc9b posted? It looks like it's in the real world as seen here, but it's got those funky floating things that look like they're from the inside of Edgar's mind, as seen here. Weird.

They've got a rocking new website here. They say that they're expecting it to come out around this Thanksgiving, which is excellent. Can't wait to play it. They've also got some really cool stuff in their store. Who wouldn't want an Alien Hominid shirt or some of those awesome action figures? To bad they're a bit on the expensive side. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. If I get one it won't be of something like that. While I doubt anyone actually has a tattoo of the Gold Guy, I'm sure if someone did they'd be trying to cut it off right about now. Not that I think there's some sort of parrallel between LucasArts and Double Fine.

Very nice, Jake. Trep, that's not a bad idea either. I've actually considered getting a tattoo when I head off to college, but I haven't decided what of. Somehow, I doubt it will end up being 2HB (if I get one at all) as cool as that would be.
