There are several different ways that you could do it. I don't really know the specifics or which is the best way to go as I haven't really investigated them thoroughly. You for sure need a PassMe2, and then it looks like you'll either need a M3 adapter or a GBA flash cart. Apparently, the GBA MP2 with a compact flash card doesn't work on the new firmware. I've heard that the M3 thing isn't the greatest, so your best bet is probably a GBA flash cart. This site appears to be a good source of info on them. Obviously, you'll also need someway or writing the games to the cart. I believe that it's possible to use a GBA to do this, but I'm not entirely certain. You could always get something like this that includes both a 256meg cart and a writer. That's about all I know. I've never actually done any of it myself, so you'll probably want to read around some more before deciding what to do.

Might be a bit early for this thread, but the hype seems to have already started. What new games have surfaced that are worth keeping an eye on? I just watched some stuff on Arthur and the Minimoys, and it looks like it could be an interesting little game. Has anyone read the books?

You don't have to short it. Well, you do if you want to flash it, but you don't have to flash it. Flashing it allows you to play homebrew stuff without having to use a PassMe (a PassMe 2 in your case) every time you want to play homebrew stuff.

It all depends on what version of firmware is on your DS. I luckily have an older version so I just need a PassMe (~$15), a GBA MP2 (~$20), a compact flash card writer (~$5), and a compact flash card. Since you have a DS Lite it's a bit more complicated, and I don't think there's been a lot of research done yet. Towards the end of this page is some info on a guy who has flashed his DS Lite.

On a vaguely related note, when I braved going to my local ebgames yesterday to pick up the New Super Mario Bros. I overheard a classic ebgames conversation. Two guys were checking out the stores sorry collection of PC games. One of them spots Half-Life on the shelves and points it out to the other. The guy mentions how a friend of theirs has it and how it really sucks. The other guy responded with something like, "Yeah, he likes really gay games." What they hell? I bet these same guys just eat shit like 50 Cent the game right up. The last time I was there I overheard some punk going on to an employee about how great 50 Cent was and how he just wished the game was longer. I think I'd lose my mind if I were to work at a place like that. Chris, how did you ever do it?

If you don't put him back together before leaving for New Port he'll still be broken when you get back in chapter 12. This leaves open the question of how your father was able to talk with him on the phone seeing as he had no brain. If you do put him back together he'll talk to you some when you first come back and tell you that someone is waiting to see you. Then, after you're asleep he has a couple of touching lines about wanting to play a game and wondering if you'll play a game with him when you wake-up.

Yeah, I wish you could fly too. I just got to the second world. I got all of the coins in the first world save the middle one in the level after the middle tower (1-4, I think). It's the one that you see directly above you when you go down a tunnel. I can figure out how to get up there. Can anyone give me a hint? Also, Miffy, is it only possible to save at the half-way world point, after you finish a world, or when you pay five coins to unlock something? You've got to play to play Wario Land 2 & 3. The first Wario Land is fun, but nothing special. It's basically a Mario game except with Wario. The second and third games are amazing and completely different. You can't die. It's a lot more puzzle based usually involving Wario changing into a bunch of really weird things. You should definitely check them out. I haven't played the fourth one, but I hear that it's not very good.

Yeah, I just picked it up today using a rebate that I got when I bought my DS this past Christmas. I haven't played a ton so far, but it seems pretty good. I'm a bit confused on how the saving works. Is it possible to save whenever you want? While it's fun, I don't enjoy Mario nearly as much as Wario Land 2 & 3. Those games kick ass, and yet they sadly won't run on my DS. I did just order a GBA MP2 though, so pretty soon now I'll be able to play them again along with Monkey Island! Woohoo! I can't wait.

I'm ashamed to admit that I've never played either Half-Life. I'm thinking of getting the original Half-Life soon, but I don't know which version to get. Should I get the original 1998 version or Half-Life: Source? What's the difference? Also, are its expansion packs worth playing? Valve has a pretty good deal where you can get Half-Life, Blue Shift, Opposing Forces, and Team Fortress Classic for $15 ($5 more than just Half-Life).

ha! I just played the first couple of minutes of HL2 (I haven't finished the first yet). Has anyone here ever seen Manos: The Hands of Fate? It used to be the lost rated movie on IMDB, but apparently a lot more crap movies have come out recently and now it's only the 30th. Anyway, to the point. Gman sounds exactly like Torgo, which is hilarious. There's no way I can take him seriously now.

I just watched the four minute trailer for the new Monkey Ball for the Wii. It was really surprising. There's a lot more to it than just the regular old Monkey Ball. It looks pretty fun.

Other than as the Genie in Aladdin I don't really like Robin Williams. He's not particularly funny.

I'm planning on ordering the Half-Life 1 Anthology from Amazon, and was looking around for something else to add so I could get free shipping. I discovered that they have Runaway for $8, which isn't bad. What's the thought on Runaway? Worth getting? Something else I should get instead?
