  1. Metroid Prime

I figured there was some sort of reasoning like that. I think it makes movement more cumbersome, but it's not going to stop me from playing it.

  3. Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

Awesome game. One complaint: it's too easy. I can't compare it to Twisted or Touched, as I've never played them, but the original Wario Ware was much much more difficult. You actually had to work to complete several of the challenges. In Smooth Moves you can complete almost all of them in your first or second go. Also, they just throw the minigames at you without having to earn them, though that I don't mind so much. In comparison to Raving Rabbids I'd say that Smooth Moves has, on the whole, stronger games, but Raving Rabbids has, well, the Rabbids. I can't get over how great those little guys are. Did you guys see these videos?
  4. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All

interview with localization team From the last line it looks like they're planning on doing the third game. Excellent. I've only just finished the second case of Justice for All. It's superb so far, aside from that ridiculous tutorial. Pearl is awesome.
  5. Coffee

    oh yeah, forgot that step.
  6. Coffee

They're pretty simple to use. Just put the grounds in, add hot water, wait four minutes, and press.
  7. Coffee

espresso I only started drinking coffee last year as my job required me to walk around for extended periods of time outside in the cold at night. I now use a french press to brew my coffee, and quite enjoy it. I usually get my coffee from a hippy coffee shop close to my college. I'm pretty sure the guy is high every time I go in.
  8. How did you find Idle Forums?

heh. Something happened with Mixnmojo's server last year around the time of the launch of Sam & Max. The site never made it back up after things got sorted out. I suppose I should get around to talking to someone about it.
  9. hickee

I finally got around to buying Hickee, and it's hilarious. Does anyone know if they're going to release another anthology type book, or should I just go ahead and get the other two books (here and here) as they are?
  10. Sam & Max: Situation: Comedy

Excellent episode. My only complaint is Max's forehead. I hate how it looks like an anvil has fallen on his head every time he raises his brow. Also, I'm hoping for some trippier locations more on par with the original Sam & Max in future episodes.
  11. Movie/TV recommendations

I'm thinking of trying some Doctor Who, but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of episodes. Any recommendations on a couple good episodes to wet one's feet with?
  12. Let's all celebrate with new avatars!

Thanks for the thought, but I think I'll just stick with this one for now.
  13. Let's all celebrate with new avatars!

It was a tough call between Rich Fulcher and Matt Berry. I wish I could have found a good one of him as Bob Fossil.
  14. Battlestar Galactica Season 3

Apparently, there might be a direct-to-video movie in the works. hmmm. Also, I'm not surprised their ratings have been falling. If I didn't love the first two seasons so damn much I probably would have even stopped watching the show by now.
  15. The Wire

I finally got around to finishing the first season of The Wire. The middle dragged a bit for me, but the end was fantastic. I'm already halfway through the second season which is absolutely brilliant. I'm watching it at the same time a friend of mine and I are forcing ourselves to watch Firefly. It's like night and day going from brilliant writing and superb acting to cheesy writing and painfully aweful acting. I especially love Frank Sobotka's character.
  16. I've pre-ordered a Kitten :D

While not of Siamese kittens, I love .I want a Siamese kitten now too. Stupid college. When my mom was little she had a Siamese cat that would kill birds and the what not, bring them back to the house, and leave them on my mom's pillow.
  17. Wii number exchange

um, ok. I have two questions. First, did you guys just stumble upon this thread while scouring the internet for total strangers' friend codes? Second, why would you add someone as a "friend" when you don't even know them?
  18. I've pre-ordered a Kitten :D

    Yay!! Kitty-cat!
  19. Uru

Anyone tried the new version of Uru yet? I'm thinking about it as I find the laid back concept quite appealing. The controls might kill it for me again though. Does anyone know if they've changed any for the re-release?
  20. Battlestar Galactica Season 3

Dean Stockwell is the man. The "cliffhanger" is made even more ridiculous by the fact that they had to include a second "cliffhanger" involving Lee shooting Anders because they knew no one would actually buy that Adama was going to blow them all up. I mean, if Adama actually intended to do it, would anyone really be all that concerned with what Lee and Anders did? Of course, it's pretty obvious that nothing is really going to happen between them either. I thought the mid-season cliffhanger last season was quite good. I figured that Galactica and Pegasus probably weren't going to start killing each other, but it was still very intense. What got me though was the question of whether or not they were going to kill either the Chief or Helo. At that point I was still operating under the false impression that they had no problem killing off their characters, so I was genuinely on edge about what was going to happen. I'm a little ashamed to admit it, but I actually had trouble getting to sleep that night so I got on IMDB and checked to see if the Chief appeared in any episodes later in the season (I started watching it after the second season had already aired).
  21. Battlestar Galactica Season 3

Hey, you're right. I just assumed that the mid-season break would come half-way through the season. whoops.
  22. Battlestar Galactica Season 3

It's felt pretty disappointing for a while now. Also, I was worried that there'd be a killer cliff-hanger that would leave me on the edge of my seat till January 21st, like season 2. Not so much.
  23. Battlestar Galactica Season 3

Woohoo!!! :woohoo: Sort of a crap episode, but it's completely redeemed by what happens at the end.
