  2. Oracle of Ages [crap pun deleted]

I don't get why people are always complaining about Jabu Jabu's Belly. It's small and super easy.
  3. I just started playing it for my first time too. I just got to the Forest Temple, and I love it. One thing though, I'd always been under the impression that the game world was massive, but, after having finally played it for myself, I think it feels smaller than the rest of the Zeldas I've played (all the 2d ones). It's essentially just one large, mostly uninteresting and barren, field connecting a couple of towns each of which usually have a small map leading to a dungeon. That compared with awesome maps like these:
  4. Super Mario Bros

My roommate and a friend of mine just maxed out the score (9,999,990) on the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros by playing the cycle of eight worlds roughly ten and a third times in succession without a continue. I thought it was pretty impressive, but then again I never played Mario when I was a kid. Anyone else here maxed it out?
  5. Super Mario Bros

Hey, I didn't do it. I suck at Mario. It was my roommate and a friend of mine.
  6. The Movie "Children of Men"

I'm fairly confident that the movie never says what the infertility is due to.
  7. The Movie "Children of Men"

Yeah, I love Children of Men, and it also very much reminded me of HL2 as well. I saw it in a small art theater while I was in Hungary this past Christmas. I'm pretty sure that my dad and I were the only two people in the theater who got Michael Caine's joke involving the stork. Also, Zizek really loves the movie. Check out some of the stuff he's said about it over at the official site.
  8. DS Games

I played it last week. It's ok, but not nearly as good as Phoenix Wright. It's fairly predictable, has mediocre writing, decent puzzles, and amazing character animation. I enjoyed playing it, but I'm fairly certain I'd never play it a second time.
  9. Does the Wii nead *real games* ?

Hey, loonyboi, how about a wii civ?
  10. Battlestar Galactica Season 3

BSG was just renewed for a fourth season of at least 13 episodes. I hope it ends up being better than the current one. The most recent episode was pretty good though.
  11. When Harry met Sally

No, Marek always looks like that.
  12. Oracle of Ages [crap pun deleted]

Oracle of Ages kicks ass. Superb dungeon design. Oracle of Seasons is also awesome, though slightly less so. It's a completely different game than Ages, apart from the usual Zelda stuff, the rings, and the ability to connect the stories. Seasons is more straight forward with less puzzles and more fighting.
  13. Sam and Max episode 3

While it was definitely the shortest so far, I think I enjoyed this one the most.
  14. Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

Anyone played it yet? I'm hoping to get a Wii this weekend. If I were to get either Smooth Moves or Raving Rabbids to start out with, which would be a better buy?
  15. Movie/TV recommendations

The Science of Sleep  I wish Michel Gondry directed The Mighty Boosh.
  16. My Web Comic

Come on, this should be the official Idle T comic. No need for an all new blog.
  17. Movie/TV recommendations

Does anyone know if the new BBC version of Robin Hood is any good?
  18. Hotel Dusk: Room 215

http://www.4colorrebellion.com/archives/2007/01/31/4cr-review-hotel-dusk/ Is it really as good as he says? Are the characters interesting or just noir cliches?
  19. Marek won't be reading anything.
  20. Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

I just unlocked the last mini-game. It's quite awesome.
  21. Wario Disguise Game

Yes, Wario Land 2 and 3 are two of the greatest platformers ever. The first is also quite fun. Brings back such fond memories of my childhood...
  22. Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

  23. Metroid Prime

I just picked up Metroid Prime today as I heard that it's a pretty great game. What's with the controls? Aiming is absolutely ridiculous.
  24. Hotel Dusk: Room 215

    yay!
  25. Hotel Dusk: Room 215

I haven't played it or seen any reviews (are there any yet?), but, for some reason, I have a gut feeling that it's going to end up being a disappointment in the end. I hope I'm wrong.
