OHMYGODYOUGUYS I just played two or three chapters with PiratePoo, and it was great. The controls were pretty awkward, but it's weird how you can adapt to the most awkward shit. Anyway, we fought hordes of zombies and some bird things, and a couple of bad ass bosses, like this one guy with a sack over his head and a chainsaw that took off my head in a single swipe. Looks pretty good Co-op combat is fun and satisfying Some more sections where we're separated would've been nice. Motorcycle zombie quick time events. Motorcycle zombies Motorcycle zombie Games for Windows Live The shotgun Barks that you can spam all the time.

Just finished a rather fun game that ran pretty even throughout until right at the end, when my enemy destroyed me with a series of those fucking two-letter words ... They're the blue turtle shells of word games.

There is a gameplay trailer here. It looks exactly like one would expect a 2012 AAA Hitman sequel to look. Not very exciting stuff, but who knows – it might turn out awesome. Fun fact: For the game's music, they replayed Jesper Kyd with two guys called, wait for it, Peter Kyed and Peter Peter.

I thought Win7 UAC was broken anyways. Let me see... Ah, here we are.

Thanks! Is there a lobby for finding a co-op partner? Has anyone here bought it but not yet played it?

It's called Red Tails.

I am Rodi!

I live practically surrounded by 7-Elevens. None of them are actually open from 7 to 23 (or to 11), which is FUCKING HILARIOUS.

That's no problem unless the ground was covered in thick layers of it, though. It's not like snow instantly turns into rain (or the other way around) as the temperature outside ones house crosses 0 degrees.

No, I hadn't heard. Just read the interview, and, just to be clear – has the remake actually been confirmed? Reading the interview, I almost got the feeling the :-) was more of a ;-). Anyway, I get sort of sad when I think about an LBA remake or an LBA 3, as I always imagine sequels to modern sequels to games I loved years ago never get the treatment/budget they deserve, and end up a disappointment. I guess the first example I can think of is the Broken Sword 2 sequels. BS and BS2 were beautiful games, with fantastic graphics, animations, music and voice acting. When they did the third game (and a fourth?), suddenly it became this budget production thing; maybe not intentionally, but they never came close to the level of quality and polish of the first two games. Oh, and Simon the Shit Sorcerer 3D, the most disappointing sequel I've ever had the disappointment of having to review, back when I did some reviews for a site which no longer exists and I can't remember what it was called, which may be for the best.

Have you looked at Ninite?

My name ... is toblix. Seems like a fun thing, though I don't know what the hell I'm doing. What's the taunt thing?

If someone else was working on it, I would be pretty ambivalent. Blow's reality distortion field (The Blowfield™) makes me weirdly giddy with anticipation, though.

I would just go here and start reading reviews.

Came back from Australia/Thailand yesterday. Holidaying can be exhausting.

Watched Ghost Protocol today on an posifuckingtively enormous screen. The best part was the Bat Man short thing—whatever you call it—they played before the main feature, the one with all the goings on on the plane. Exciting, to be sure! No wait, even better was the ad for some scrap metal place outside Sydney. I wonder how much scrap metal business those ads bring in. Anyway, the Ghost Protocol story was probably terrible—I was too busy taking in the spectacular huge explosions, arabian towers, lady cleavages, card hacking devices, Tom Cruise's noses and people messing around in a car park, fighting and denting other people's BMWs to pay much attention to what it all meant. Anyway, I thought I'd never enjoy a cinema experience again, BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG. THE END.

Happy new year! Just came back from watching the Sydney fireworks, and they were pretty sweet. Also, no Mayan gods came.

Great stuff, Jake, Chris, Sean, Doug and Mike! The front page image is beautiful.
