The dots are in a list called "group icons". I'm guessing the moderators have grouped everyone according to how much they like them. More dots = more like.

Well, re-uploading my own avatar wouldn't solve the problem with everyone else's avatars, which are the ones bothering me. Didn't realise the old bord supported rectangular avatars, though.

Yeah, the calculator button is sweet, but I never use calc at home, so I can do without. I've also never had a problem with ghosting or blocking, but I get the impression I've just been lucky, so naturally my new keyboard has n-key rollover, so I can push all the keys at once for massive damage. I think this is pretty much the definitive guide to mechanical keyboards.

I tend to traverse the board depth-first: I work my way up from the last forum (i.e. starting with the TMA ones and ending with Video Gaming), and in each forum I click on the little "go to last post" icon and read everything. I just realized this means I've read every post made on this board the last three or four years.

So yeah, the WYSIWYG editor is a little wonky, but I'm still pretty happy with all of this.

Just checking if Firefox also has this WEIRD behavior, and it doesn't, but I managed to get it stuck in this weird formatting, even though none of the styles are selected. It looks like bold, but it isn't, and toggling underlined doesn't help.

Also, I should probably say I really love this new board.I'm especially happy with the new WYSIWYG editor, except: When I write, and use Ctrl+I to enter italic text, and then hit backspace, all sorts of craziness ensues. I'm using Chrome 19.0.1084.46 m.

Oh, and whenever I log in I see these tempting quick join things, but I never dare click them lest I'm inadvertently an asshole and break up some well-planned raid, ruining it for everyone. Is it always okay to do them, or should I ask before, or what? Do I have to consider stuff like level and class and everything? I thought it was fun when Wrestle and dibs joined me, even though the sessions were short.

So what are the rules for giving away shit? I always offer everything I find to the other players unless I can use it right away – is that dumb? I feel like I should be all strategic and think about my other characters and whatever. Anyway, here, have these sweet yellow pants.
