Didn't crash for me either, but it also didn't mute.

Oh, also, playing a game in windowed mode is a great way for me to be able to play a game I wouldn't be able to play full-screen, on account of me being a big pussy. It would be the equivalent of adjusting horror by holding a sofa pillow up in front of my face, which I have also done.

The problem isn't that it's windowed, but that, like Lone Survivor, it has super-pixelly graphics which look terrible full-screen. I don't want to have to physically move my monitor further away just to play it. If it had a .5x mode that would be enough. Unrelated to that, not letting you save and not letting you properly alt-tab is also super-annoying. I'm assuming it has to do with the Flash platform.

This game does that annoying Lone Survivor thing where it decides for you that you fucking love playing games full-screen. I played it for a bit, but then had to do something else, and since it has no save function and hates alt-tab I was forced to quit, losing my progress.

Don't you mean "that's AN mind blown?"
  6. I tried looking up American Apparel, but all I could find was a porn site with the same name.
  7. Depth Jam

So, Jonathan Blow, Chris Hecker, Daniel Benmergui and Marc ten Bosch had a game jam (click the links for their respective write-ups.) I just read Blow's article, which is part an account of the event, and part a criticism of what sort of events are being held today. Jonathan Blow seems like this super wound-up guy that holds himself and everyone he meets to a very high standard. I've never met him, but I'm pretty sure he already hates me.
  8. Limbo

Those kinds of achievements I never even consider. How long did each playthrough take you? How many hours have you spent in all working on that achievement in particular?
  9. Depth Jam

Yeah, they should record it and put it online. They could call it the Depth Jam... safe. Or bunker. Or something. I'd pay for it.
  10. Diablo III

I think the authenticator resets once a week. Also, yes, session-jacking is probably a possibility. Before Diablo 3 I regarded Blizzard with almost Valve-like respect, mostly due to the stories of long dev cycles and them throwing away finished work that doesn't cut it, in pursuit of perfection. Now, I'm wondering what the Hell they're doing.
  11. Diablo III

Also, I'm sure they're blocking obvious brute force attempts – my bet is that most account hacks are due to keyloggers, passwords stolen from elsewhere, and account sharing.
  12. Diablo III

I'm guessing Diablo 3 is super-duper-unprecedently targeted because of the real money action house.
  13. Hitman: Absolution

Didn't Deus Ex: Human Revolution also have a S&M nun trailer? That turned out fine.
  14. Show me your desk/gaming space

I'm intrigued by the wooden garden chair.
  15. Soul Calibur V

It's "busters?" I always thought it was "bus stops".
  16. The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

I haven't seen it yet. Yeah, the non-singer singing is what does it for me. My dad mentioned it the the other day as a movie he'd watched back in the day, referencing Wandering Star specifically, and when I heard this I knew I had to watch it.
  17. Life

Yeah, yeah, I see it now. Sorry, everyone!
  18. Life

But I don't quote! What the hell are you talking about? Am I doing something wrong?
  19. Life

    What?
  20. Life

I'm on a phone, so give me a break. Also, why quote when I'm replying to the last post?

Your notation is invalid, so I disagree.
