Remember, you have to have logged on to the NA East 4 server at least one for anyone to be able to invite you.
  2. Broken Age - Double Fine Adventure!

World's apart, son. No two ways about it.
  3. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Didn't have dead ends, though, as far as I know.
  4. Double Fine's Dropchord

When I see the Leap Motion, I can feel my arms becoming tired.
  5. DuckTales Remastered?! WOOHOO!

  7. Bejeweled 3

I chose Bejeweled 3 as my compensation from EA for all my SimCity troubles. Everyone responsible for implementing UI design should be forced to play this (or I guess any other PopCap game maybe, I dunno.) It's glowy and gaudy and terrible, but it's so responsive it's incredible. Oh you want to select that thing that has barely started transiti– no problem, here we goooo! It's so smooth and snappy and makes regular game UI look like some slow-ass wonky crap. Hey, don't click this yet, it's not done eeeeaaasing in! It seems like they have developed a ridiculously powerful graphics platform that's ideal for gaudy puzzle games and menus – everything seems to exist in the same context, and from what I've played it lets them add weird one-off game elements and mix them seamlessly with the game itself with seemingly great ease. Like when the Walking Dead zombie comes into your dialogue and pulls a guy out, though that probably took tons of work to get right. PopCap could probably have a zombie come in at any time and pull out anything you like. Anyway, it's also pretty addictive as a game, but that probably surprises nobody.
  8. The Walking Dead Season 2: Zalking Dead

I'd like it to start like a game much like season 1, only with some weird stuff, like some bad models and wonky texture alignment, and then after a few minutes, with that effect from The Matrix, the camera zooms out (or dollys, or whatever,) through a screen, and it's just a guy playing «The Dead Walk!» on his computer and then he's attacked by zombies, and it turns out the game takes place before the first season. Maybe later someone shouts «Cut! Cut!» and it was all just a movie. These are all ideas from the top of my head.

Does that mean they're increasing player limits? I guess someone could've pulled out of a region...
  10. BioShock Infinite

If you liked Amnesia and Miasmata, you're gonna love Asmemtiam.
  11. SimCity: The City Simulator

My thing when playing the earlier SimCity games was doing the one city and playing it until I burned out. With the new cramped city sizes, you really have to get into the mindset of jumping between all your little cities all the time, and I'm struggling with that. As soon as I start something new, I don't really care about the other ones, especially since they're frozen in time. Also, I'm seeing some really weird simulation artefacts. Huge gangs of people going door to door in my sparse garbage/power part of town looking for work, four fire trucks with sirens blazing, driving in circles next to a burning house, just waiting for it to burn down so they can move on. I followed a recycling truck for a while, and it kept going back and forth across this little area, making weird turns and going up and down the same couple of streets. The city looks really cool when I'm zoomed all the way out, but if I get closer, nothing makes sense. It's pretty annoying, because people suddenly start complaining about stuff not getting to them, or garbage piling up, and there's eight garbage trucks going up and down this one street somewhere.
  12. Anno 2070

Last time I checked they hadn't added the offline stuff yet. Do you have a forum link?
  13. Anno 2070

Who knows what kind of MMO-like designs they have in the pipeline?!
  14. Anno 2070

I'd buy it, but it has this ridiculous always-online DRM.
  15. Arma 3 Alpha Thumbs

    Good times.
  16. ThumbCity

Multiple server stuff is often handled weirdly, and too often they completely isolate the servers from each other, rather than just isolating the stuff that matters. For example, social stuff and achievements could easily be a global thing. It seems a bit lazy to make the game think you just bought it every time you connect to a new server, especially if they start cutting access like that.
  17. ThumbCity

    Well that sucks.
  18. ThumbCity

SORRY! I forgot to stop by the region, but you're both invited now.
  19. Life

Just run around a corner and into him and drop a bunch of papers. You'll be chatting in no time.

How is your game disabled? Probably unrelated, but I thought it was disabled one time too, because I used the taskbar pop-up menu to launch SimCity, but of course instead of just starting the game, it opened the Origin window instead and launched SimCity in the background. Since the Origin window appeared, I thought I would have to launch it manually, so I tried to click the Play button, but it was disabled since it had already launched it in the background, so I was like «fuckfuckfuck» but then I noticed the SimCity window in the background.

  22. SimCity: The City Simulator

I'll take your poop and trade it for profit. Then I'll send all my uneducated hobos over to Pooptown to burn stuff in drums. I wouldn't worry about the Mac version. First of all, they probably have a separate team working on that. Second, they seem to be back on their expected schedule now. Server capacity problems are fixed (as I understand it ...) and they're doing regular patching.
