It's another remix album. Downloading it as we speak.

Sounds fun! I'm up for it if I'm able.

I watched Maniac this weekend, and I sort of regret it. It's a brutal, violent movie that's technically impressive and has a lot of fantastic qualities. I usually don't mind violence and gore, but I think the thing that gets me is when it's well-produced and given much love and attention, but still leaves me wondering what it was all for. Maniac has some great visuals and fantastic music, which draws me in and makes me want to see more. However, there are multiple, long, drawn-out murder scenes in which the victims are innocent (as opposed to movie bad guys who had it coming) and there's a lot of highly detailed killing and mutilation. In the end, it didn't really feel like there was much of a point other than «look a these sick deaths!» and that makes me uncomfortable.

Everyone knows Disasterpeace's music in this game is terrific, and that you should get the soundtrack. BUT .... You should also know that the recently released remix album «FZ: Side F» is fantastic too. I just listened to the Hyperduck remix called «The One-Two Quickstep Lighthouse Keeper» and I was like «hey this is great.» You can get it here: http://disasterpeace.com/album/fz-side-f

Wow, that's harsh. Ignoring the ad hominem stuff, what makes him unqualified?

Though it's easy for me to say, do it.

PC gaming, am I right?! -
Okay, so all gems are discoverable the first time you pass them? I was thinking maybe I would have to come back later with more equipment or something.

Idle Thumbs 104: Emblematic of the Dissonance

Good cast. That Kickstarter bit at the end nailed my biggest problem with a lot of those «we're like a little cosy Apple» videos, and it did so by making me want to back and be a part of an undefined nothing. I guess it just goes to show how music can manipulate our feelings. Sleeping Dogs is fun, and does some stuff really well, like looking god damn amazing and having great radio stations. Remember to keep left and get the high-resolution texture pack! -

My schedule is pretty open, though my weird Norwegian time zones may prove problematic. Late Saturday for you is ... PLAYER MAKES TIME ZONE CALCULATION CHECK ... ... very late Saturday for me? Could work. What time zones is everyone in? -

Bustin' Makes You Feel Good in This Game: Idle Thumbs Scarescraper

I'll do it if anyone dies, like if I kill Lu to get his place. I'll kill him, I'll fucking do it. -
I hope I am who I think you are.

Catherine is probably coming out soon. I thought it was an RPG, but apparently it's a block-stacking puzzle game that is so difficult they're working on a patch to make it easier. I really, really like the visual style and feel of what I've seen, but hearing of the difficulty makes me wary. Anyone know if it's all block puzzles all the time? Seems a bit weird, no?

What is this?

Pro tip: search for an existing thread for a game before starting a new one. Even proer tip: google «idle thumbs [game]» and it's even better. But yeah, it's great. I haven't gotten to the second checkpoint yet, and probably never will. I keep it open in the background at work so I can jump in for another run now and then.

Look at the seat, and then look at the shape of the tarp as it covers it. Ghost seat.

Even though it has been "scientifically proven" having an experience "spoiled" for you actually makes you enjoy it more, be aware that details pertaining to the ending of this game has apparently been leaked. Though I'll certainly try, I expect my chances of getting unspoilt to to the end are small. Luckily I've become less nerd-ragey about this stuff as I get closer to my death.

This makes me unreasonably excited for this game:

Well there you go, I was as wrong as can be. Moving the menus to the side is much better, though there's still huge room for improvement.
-
Did it? Maybe I don't remember correctly what it was like before, but the way it is now is just useless. Maybe the best example is when you click the icon to show a planet, and the camera centers in on the planet, hiding it right underneath the huge menu. The current UI is just a failure – converting it into a sidebar shouldn't be a huge problem.
-
Either I'm missing something, or the new UI is super-terrible. I hope we get a side-panel or something back instead of this dumb mess covering up everything.
-
It's working again now, though.

Come on, writing a proper thread name takes five seconds. I really liked the first game, though I stopped playing after a couple of levels for some reason. I remember having cars with rotating chain things on them, and too many enemies coming from all sides. Is COH2 a multiplayer-focused game, or will there be a sweet single-player campaign as well?
