What? What jobs did you all get?
-
Right there. Across the chain. I can't. I've tried like six times.
-
Aaaand that's where I'm stuck. Well, not so much stuck as falling to my death.
-
But even the Euro versions does it! And it's not even a puzzle, it's just jumping from a damn chain. Ah well, I'll try some more later.
-
So, I'm at the All the walkthroughs seem to skip this part.

Brain Training... more like: this actually isn't Brain Training

So, how well would importing a US Wii to Europe work? I haven't found any information about it or comments from people who've tried it. I'm especially interested in how the online stuff would work (if at all). Is there as of yet any indication there'll be lot of cool games for the US that won't come out in Europe, or is it just statistics? Also, to the ICO team: Way to fucking make it hard to judge jumps so that I have to replay parts of the game many times, assholes!

I wasn't really thinking about release dates. I was thinking about games that come out earlier (or even at all) in the US.

It's right before Texas Flood on Hard. That's when the game goes from being fun to being terrible shit. It's like they put in that terrible tutorial and expect you to handle hammer-ons with lighting speed! I know it's called hard, but I feel there's potential there for more challenging gameplay without being a million fucking random notes whizzing at you. There's no way someone can play that without just having memorized the movements or something, and that's not fun. Say, didn't I write a post exactly like this earlier? Oh, and I'm talking about Guitar Hero.
-
I hear they fixed the hammer-ons in GH2, too.

I guess it's just an opinion of mine, and the term DRM-fucked is not an official one, but I think it describes well what happens when a product decides to apply copy protection to something without asking, without checking if applying the protection is in violation of other licenses. It's like they had this cool feature (wireless sharing of files between portable MP3 players), and then they... fucked it up the ass with DRM because, in the end they like being the lipstick-smeared whore of the RIAA or whomever. About the brown, though, I thought maybe it'd be nice. I'm sort of liking the brown look of Ubuntu, but I haven't seen a real, brown Zune. Sounds to me people are thinking they ugly. But they come in other colors, right?
-
Note that the Zune screen, while bigger than the iPod's, has the same resolution. Also note that all music becomes DRM-fucked, even music with licenses granting you the right to copy at will.

LET'S MAKE THIS A THREAD ABOUT ANNOYING ADVENTURE GAME PUZZLES! That one in Simon the Sorcerer 2 with the wearing of the... rat, was it? Some small animal. Yeah, that was annoying.
-
I don't know anyone in that photo (that I know), but those gigantic fucking steel pillars have got to be annoying.

Okay, I thought Castlevania was just some lame platform shooter. Are the games really that good? What separates them from, like... Mega Man or whatever? I played a Castlevania on a NES one time, and I didn't really like it.
-
I haven't played it much at all (Just did the monkey business), but it wasn't at all what I had expected.
-
Anyone feel like listing the latest amazing games?
-
I think someone pressed the wrong button. Did anyone else feel it?
-
The greyed-out stop button makes me want to drill up from underneath it.

So there's definitely going to be another PW game, and most likely going to be two more? That's just fantastic! I wonder if the PW4 will have some crazy stylus gimmick.
-
What, can't you import or won't you? Also, isn't it strange that PW4 is listed for DS but not PW3? What the Hell? Also, Aussie Ben, thanks! But...
-
Thanks. I'll look into it later. I'm happy to hear it's harder, though. Do you know how long it is, compared to the first one? It seems like there's more "story" in this one, so maybe it's comparable to the first game even without the extra chapter.

You want screwing? Check out the Nintendo Norway website. The improvement over the '96 website is... only slight.

Isn't Contact a single player game?
