  1. [GDC]Real nice news from Sony

    Ho-lee fuck.
  2. Live blogging GDC '07

Is there a blog or online diary, news site, podcast or animated gif aggregating interesting video links from GDC? It seems there's a lot of trailers and gameplay videos, but aren't there speeches or whatever being held too? Are those available anywhere?
  3. Braid

Does anyone know if this game will be, like, sold? And if so, how?
  4. [GDC]Real nice news from Sony

Okay, so LittleBigPlanet looked pretty (a piece of shit looks pretty if you blur it enough), but what is it? It looked like a platformer without enemies or health, but with cool, physics based obstacles and four-player co-op. So: 1. Are there ordinary levels, like SMB, with varied obstacles and some sort of linear progression, or do people just fill a level with prefabs, set a start and a finish point and upload them to the webs? 2. Is there a point to being four people at a time? I don't think I noticed any advantage to being four players, other than that it's fun to play coop. 3. Is this a coop platformer with physics or have I misunderstood some fundamental concept regarding this game?
  5. The Music in Zelda Games

http://www.thetanooki.com/2007/03/03/zelda-music-of-golden-proportions/ Is this cool or what?
  6. Braid

    http://braid-game.com/news/?page_id=2 says Q1.
  7. Braid

You never heard of Jonathan Bow?!
  8. So, riding the Zelda 2D train, my next stop is Oracle of Ages, which appears to run on the same engine as Link's Awakening, only with some more stuff (rings, seeds, etc.) and large scrolling rooms (not sure how I feel about those). I tried drawing a map as I traveled around this time, and I feel I'm getting more immersed and fun-having. How similar to this is Oracle of Seasons? Is it the same map only with more fighting, or is everything new?
  9. Oracle of Ages [crap pun deleted]

So, is there like a Jabu-Jabu's Belly dungeon in every Zelda game?
  10. Oracle of Ages [crap pun deleted]

I found out why I felt that fellating me was the proper course of action for Jabu-Jabu's belly. There was one of those key-blocks, and since unlocking it seemed impossible while swimming I assumed I had to get back to it after draining the level. I later found that to be impossible, of course, and it became clear that unlocking submerged key-blocks isn't impossible, it's just difficuly. I have to fuck the key-block, it seems, for it to dissolve. So now I'm back on track. Still hating the dungeon, but at least I got a longer switch-shot (or whatever) now.
  11. Oracle of Ages [crap pun deleted]

I'm enjoying Oracle of Ages, especially the part where I don't feel like there's a million optional side-quests to do that I never get to know about. Maybe it's just that I don't get to know about them. Anyway, my enjoyment is starting to wane like so much shit with this Jabu-Jabu's belly business, with the flushing and the fucking annoying swimming back and forth. The map can suck my cock. I think I'll have to start drawing up my own dungeon maps too. Also, I think playing all the Zelda games in sequence is a bad idea. Sometimes I wish I was not playing a Zelda game.
  12. I'm too rich in Oblivion

I just remember that Bard's Tale had excellent breast textures.
  13. The Movie "Children of Men"

Also, if you're more mainstream there's Timecode, which is a 90-minute movie consisting of four 90-minute takes (that's right!). It's like 24 on crack.
  14. The Movie "Children of Men"

It does, it does. At least, I think it does. Also, the whole scripted sequence thing, with the mouselook and all that, Marek? I totally (as far as I know) did not even think about that! I was just talking about the mood and setting, but you're so right. That movie is like the scripted sequence from Heaven.
  15. Thunderbird or Outlook Express?

I'm one of the few who prefer Outlook Express over Thunderbird. No, I'm just telling a joke. In honesty I consider Thunderbird to be the better e-mail client.
  16. The Movie "Children of Men"

Interestingly, in the novel, which is also named Children of Men, it was the men who were infertile, not the women. Somebody forgot to translate the title!
  17. DS Games

  18. DS Games

Okay, that's it. I'm buying Portrait of Ruin. ...or should I start by playing the first GBA Castlevania? I hate going back and playing older games in a series after I've played a newer one (which is why, sadly, I've yet to play the first Mario & Luigi).
  19. I have now played some Wii games (Sports and WarioWare) and it's totally awesome. Next on the list is Banana Blitz, but then what? What are the totally awesome Wii games coming out other than Mario Party 8, which I think will be fun, not having read anything about it or played a Mario Party game ever?
  20. A Thread About The Nintendo Wii

Hey, I have a hard, raging erection for Zelda, but only 2D Zelda. And maybe pretty 3D Zelda, but I have yet to see one. I'm hoping, though, that there has been some up-beefing of the graphics from Ocarina of Time to Flute of Eternity, or whatever in the fuck they call the Wii Zelda.
  21. I Bought an Xbox 360 Today!

...almost. I was this close! I was at the store, standing there, seriously considering buying it. Almost... almost... but I managed to tear away from the enthralling spell of the white cardboard box. Mistake... or not a mistake?
  22. I think I started off planning to reflect my opinion of the game in the thread title, like Picross? More like neat-cross or something, but then at some point (possible right at the beginning) it turned into a poo-fest, an excremaganza, a cockophony of shit. And I'm so sorry. I'm still a bit hurt that there's no trace of my early, old-school thread titles, like the one about Trauma Center. Terrible Center, was it? To be that young again...
  23. They did the exact same "more like"-thing?
  24. Wow, I thought everyone loved them. Of course I'll stop.
