  1. Okami

Well, I finished it. Good thing the ending was the shortest fucking cut-scene in the game. Now: Bully or God of War or Resident Evil 4 or Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy X or Final Fantasy XII or MGS: Subsistence or Some other PS2 game?
  2. Okami

Fucking fuck fuck piss shit is this game too motherfucking long! I feel like I've played nothing else for my entire life! WHEN WILL THIS END?! I KEEP KILLING THESE FUCKING EVIL MONSTERS AND JUST WHEN I THINK I HAVE COMPLETED THE GAME I GET A NEW SWORD! WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THAT?!?!?!?!?! Who in the Hell gave these people the money to pull this one off? I mean, the production value is pretty high throughout the game, with new enemies and stuff... how, what the... I wish this will end! Okay, so I've clocked 68 hours now, some of which are hours the game has been left without pausing it first. I just got the last stroke. Please tell me that the final boss is around the next bend. They have me in a trap: I've played too much to enjoy it anymore, but I've invested too much to just give up. I fucking hate Okami and fucking Clover.
  3. Okay, but can I also continue?
  4. GTA IV trailer

What features did they focus on?
  5. DS Games

    Yeah, yeah.
  6. DS Games

I'm sorry, I didn't mean it! Anyway, Harmony of Dissonance seemed like a crap game. I mean, the platforming and fighting elements were terrible! Or am I missing something? What more is there to this game? The RPG elements (equipment, spell books) didn't seem seem that fantastic. Is the story so brilliant? Is there a whole dimension of fun waiting to be discovered, or what? Can it be that this I just don't like fighting platformers?
  7. DS Games

Tell me, how can a platformer be deep?
  8. DS Games

Well, I got the Castlevania GBA double pack in the mail the other day, and you can all suck my dick because the one I played (the one with the big robot chasing you in the beginning) was a terrible piece of shit. Playing it was like being forced to play a horrible game, only by choice. Oh, wait, I get it. I probably ordered the wrong game. The one you're talking about, the one a lot of you say things about such as "To be fair, they're all really really great titles" is probably a great game, whereas the one I got was one of those lame NES-ish platformers where you jump around repetitive corridors attacking two different kinds of enemies until you die too easily because you inadvertently stumble upon some big dual-sword-wielding fucker. Now, what was the name of the games you are talking about?
  9. Re-Volt was awesome!
  10. Buying A Computer

    You know... Conan?
  11. Buying A Computer

I am, actually. The only question is how many bits. I guess it depends on the driver situation (32bits is looking the most tempting). I'd like to do the right thing and boycott Windows altogether, but I didn't buy a $3000 computer to play Tux Racer. I hate Microsoft and Vista with a passion for their raping of consumers, but I'm ignoring this so that I can play DX10 games. I'm such a fucking whore.
  12. Buying A Computer

I was trying to hit a point closer to childish joy of getting a fantastic new toy than listing specifications. The important thing is that it will let me play every game released for a while, and they'll look and play spectacular. Ly. Company of Heroes, for example, was very fun, but I got to a level where the computer simply could not handle everything that was going on. That was probably the point at which I decided to start looking at computer components again. It's a bit early, considering I was really aiming for the Bioshock release, but with Vista and everything... it was just time.
  13. Buying A Computer

All sorts. I'm throwing a little bit more money at it than I usually do, just because I get such a great deal. I'm expecting to play all the games I'm looking forward too at great speeds.
  14. I told you I had to race through it, hurrying.
  15. I voted a nine, because: I have just bought a new computer, and imagine myself playing:CoH C&C3 Supreme Commander Fallout 3 Crysis Bioshock HL2: Episode 2 and Portal [*]I have a PS2 at my disposal, on which I'll finish Okami and then play: MGS3 FFXII [*]I have a Wii at my disposal, on which I'll play: Twilight Princess [*]I have a DS, on which I'll finish Hotel Dusk and play: Minish Cap Phantom Hourglass Picross PW3 and 4 Lost in Blue 2 And there's more (I have to race throught this post). I've got Oracle of Ages and Seasons on the GBA emulator, and Peggle is awesome. I'm extremely much more jazzed about gaming than I was, say, two years ago, when I felt there wasn't as much to be excited about.
  16. Super Paper Mario

I also found Farscape to be of such quality as shit.
  17. DS Games

Yeah, but it's just for the text. There should be a turbo that speeds up (or skips) the changing of characters, etc. too.
  18. DS Games

    Clearly, not often enough.
  19. DS Games

That reminds me. I wonder why there's not a system in place that ensures that there's a custom reply for at least most combinations of items/people. It wouldn't take ages to come up with some interesting and funny replies, and it would make it less obvious when you're finally on to something. Also, the multi-character "don't know" replies sucked. There should be a turbo button or something.
  20. ...Penis Wright: Ass Attorney - Justice for Balls. Is this game a bit harder and a bit chattier than the first one? Don't get me wrong, I'm loving it, but I'm still stuck on the second trial. Does anyone know if there's a hint page for this game, like UHS only that it would have this game? I figured there would be a hundred, since it's Japanese and it seems Jap games attract all the FAQ-writing hentais. Aaanyway I couldn't find one , don't want to use a walkthrough, and thought you guys'd be just happy to help. If not, fine, but feel free to give me an ever so slight nudge regarding
  21. Like it or not (I rather liked it), the fire truck chase in T3 was refreshingly not based on computer effects.
  22. Wii not taking games Seriously

    Oh, so now it's okay?
  23. Wii not taking games Seriously

I finally saw it and it looks pretty. I hope the gameplay isn't as chaotic as it seems in the trailer, though. Jumping between hundreds of different rocks with all sorts of stuff. Won't there be, you know... levels?
  24. Wii not taking games Seriously

I think their internet connection dropped too. Is the movie posted anywhere else?
