I thought I'd just reiterate my liking for this game. It's awesome. I'm playing it again for the second time, this time doing the main story quests and not giving one flying fuck about the survivors. Sure, I'll get them to follow me. For the join bonus. Then I crush their skulls with the sledgehammer. So I found out that this game isn't that hard. The boss fights (up until now, anyway) are pretty easy, so it's just my bag: little resistance, much cut-scenes and bloodletting.

Sorry.Anyway, I've noticed there's a bunch of these low-fidelity bizarre arcade games coming out now, and I'm really surprised that there's any market for them at all. Of all the games I would imagine 99% of all gamers in the world skipping after just looking at a screenshot of for one thousandth of a second, these games... Rez, Space Giraffe... I'm certain there are more of them (before I forget, there's a nasty bug in the text editor when you press down on the last line, and the caret appears at the beginning of the line)... and I imagine you must be really old-school hardcore to even try them. Is it just the low risk of publishing something on Live Arcade, or are there a bunch of old-schoolers buying these things? Also, I believe I expressed my horniness -- however tersely -- for World of Goo just earlier today. Unless that sounded like bitter rage, which I assure you it wasn't.

The trailer did it for me. In the pants. I read this at work today, and it hit me: That's exactly what I feel, to such a degree that I feel I've been robbed of my feelings. I think I mentioned it before, my lust for man-made, non-procedural, assets. Although the Tower of Goo thing did nothing for me except being a cool physics toy, this game looks totally and completely awesome.

I have such a bad experience with switchers (SCART mostly) that I'm [What's the word I'm looking for here? I know there is one, but it totally escapes me!] to buy one and risk reducing the quality of my sexy 360 signal. I'd rather switch manually.

The Wii in 480i on a big screen? Pretty fucking terrible. And it's not like my TV has two component inputs. And also, trying out RE4, the controller suddenly started acting up. The nunchuck seemed to get stuck on down, pointing me at the floor, making aiming hard, and suddenly the controller just turned itself off. I mean what the fuuck?

I feel the forums may be pointless, though. Or was there a community of sorts before this, too? Unless they do something about their ridiculous forum structure and release some info on their next game, why would anyone want to stay after they've made their attempts to get Tim to send them a PM?
