  1. Pokemon Friend Codes

    I'll give you a charmander.
  2. Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2 is all sorts of awesome. If I didn't never play games again, I'd play this one again right now.
  3. Dead Rising

You should always kill the clown, for three reasons: After killing him, use the control panel again to find a guy who'll show you the shortcut. After killing him, you'll find his awesome mini-chainsaws, which last forever with the right magazine combo (which I've forgotten) His death animation is hee-larious!
  4. Dead Rising

Have you met the clown yet? There's a shortcut around the convicts, and to open it you have to meet him first. Have you?
  5. Yeah, but I'm a completeness fetishist. I don't want to have to say that I watched all of them except one.
  6. And he keeps rotating in his chair. God!
  7. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. By the way, Marc's demonstration of and talk about Oasis was more interesting. It seemed that, because he had rehearsed this more, he was able to cut down on the "like" and "you know". If I had a Creative sound card and could record easily while watching the lecture, I'd post some mp3s of him saying stuff like "it's like, you know, like, like, you know, not like there's like, like, you know, like, you know," etc. And we could all laugh about it.
  8. Jesus Louises, this guy says "like" or "you know" probably 30% of the time he's speaking. edit: I had planned to watch all these interviews and lectures, but this guy's really killing me. His interview is done now. Hopefully his lecture won't be so horrible.
  9. I'm, you know, currently, like, watching, like, the, you know, video with, you know, like Marc, like, Leblanc, and, like, this guy, you know, like, says, like, "like", and, like, you know, "you know", like, you know, too fucking much, you know? It's, like, annoying, you know?
  10. Indie games suck!

That's it, I'm playing it again. I loved its old-school graphics so much!
  11. Indie games suck!

I started it, but gave up quickly for some reason. Tell me, are there any stupid puzzles where you have to remember something from earlier dialogue to find a password for the guy's computer?
  12. Zero Punctuation

This one was awesome! edit: New page, fuck yeah!
  13. Yeah, I tried Inform 7 for a bit and quite liked it. I've probably tried every game making system in the book, always full of awesome game ideas but for some reason not getting very far with any of them. Not because the technology is hard, but because after the first couple of rooms or features or whatever I just... stop and do something else. I have made tons of point and click adventure game rooms, text adventure rooms, lots of simple physics simulations for racing or flying or bouncing and shit like that, but I never plan anything out properly, I spend hours on details and get bored very quickly. It's the same with other stuff too, 3d studio max projects or songs or pictures in paint. Jeeze Louise, it's so frustrating! Anyway, hopefully you don't have the same problem.
  14. This thread is awesome. It's like you're crazy and hearing voices. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the game. Is Inform 7 the one with the revolutionary natural language (e.g. "The bucket is container in the Cellar")?
  15. I'm wm' watching the on one with Patricia York and with Patribut there's some weird issues wiwi audthe audiowards the end. end.
  16. Okay, this is the complete one. I'm sure there are others by now, but whatever. Those of you downloading the other torrent, switch to this instead: http://www.toblix.com/torrents/WarrenSpectorComplete.torrent
  17. Okay, could someone try this? http://www.toblix.com/torrents/WarrenSpector.torrent
  18. See it here. I think the engine looks pretty good. I've never played an AitD game before, though, but I have the impression they're like an actioney Silent Hill, with less creepy shit and more shooting at monsters? Didn't the last one come out in the '90s? One thing though: I'd like it if games like these, where I light is all-important, actually allowed you to create total dark. It seems like lamps are indesctructible when the guy explodes a bomb and the lamp just flies around like crazy. Wouldn't it be cool if you had to watch it with the shooting and exploding, lest you'd find yourself in total darkness. Being able to die because you were lost in the dark without any light sources would be awesome!
  19. Alone in the Dark 5 Tech Demo

Wow, this looks like it could be pretty cool, etc.
  20. Yeah, sorry about negatoblix taking control of my typing hand there. Just the very fact that these have been released is awesome in many dimensions, and I'm looking forward to watching them! There.
  21. Jeez, there's not a torrent with all of them in it yet.
  22. More Reader Comments from The Sun

Wow, this got pretty ugly! What an ugly thread.
