I watched the last episode of The Wire last night. Produced salty discharge.

Or a bunch of suits.

Okay, I'll bite.

I like how the episode lasts beyond its own end.

That sounds like the ridiculously stressing gameplay of Into the Blue, which sucks.

Who the Jesus fucking Christ enjoys listening to that guy singing?

A sole survivor / group survivor mod or multiplayer mode in GTAIV would be awesome. It's the sort of thing GTA IV is built to provide, at least the way I see it. They have this huge fucking sandbox of a city, and the full game doesn't even come close to make me feel like I've seen it all. The city has tons of games left in it, and a zombie survivor type thing would fit perfectly. The combination of on-foot gameplay with cars, helicopters and boats (and buses!) opens up a universe of awesome zombie gameplay.

I love Lost, and to me Fringe feels like it's going nowhere slowly. I still watch it, in hope of it becoming super awesome, but it's like the later X-files episodes: something scary happens and then drama and office intrigue for forty minutes.

Yeah, I just activated the engine, and I think I've played this enough to decide it's not for me. It's not bad -- in fact it's very polished and fresh in many ways -- but it's just too... I don't know.

FUCK YEAH! I just got the last of the friend related missions. No more bowling, drinking, eating, pooling, darting.

What did you do today? What did you learn at school? Why didn't you go to school?

I've heard of it a bunch of times, but it always seemed like "yet another JRPG" to my narrow-minded, uh, mind. Maybe I'll give it a go, though.

Yeah, that was a tad annoying. I was amazed at how smooth everything was, though. I was expecting the same "slightly detached" feeling I got from their Battlefield game, but this felt really precise. Also, it was as beautiful as the trailers led me to believe. My worry is that I'm running past everything so quickly. I'm really into fully exploring game environments, looking for interesting shit. In this game, however, I have to run as fast as I can all the time, which in a way feels like I'm running past a lot of content. I'm definitely getting this. ...for the Xbox 360, because I'm a prostitute for achievements.

There was some introductory Zero-G in Chapter 2 also. Anyway, I found a thing that annoys the hell out of me. I just activated the gravity centrifuge, and I'm supposed to avoid the rotating arm, which is fair enough (although it would be a hell of a lot easier without the terrible camera), but when I'm hit by it it has to reload the checkpoint like some late 90s game. So, every time I slip up and get smashed into a pulp in this timed puzzle I have to spend four minutes looking at the loading screen. That gets old so fast these days.

I got the final collection of Y: The Last Man issues yesterday, so today I read through all of them. So awesome, and the ending made me produce a salty discharge, which happens seldom, but is awesome.

No, maybe I'll see them in chapter 2?
-
Yeah... but will it get any different? Everything I've read indicates this is what it does. It does it consistently well, but still. Sure, I'll do the next chapter too, just to see.

It's awesome how fucking complicated a piece of software can be. There's something magical about the transition from not knowing what shit does and possible making something stop working wihout being able to fix it, to complete mastery of every detail.

I just started this, and it seemed like the opening sequences (party, test) had a trillion dialog sequences playing out simultaneously.
