That depends. The single player part of the game is awesome. I played through the whole story on my own, and it's just an ejaculation of joy, color and song all over your face. Playing with other people is exponentially more awesome, especially when they're in the room with you. The collection aspect is geared towards creating your own levels, which may not seem that interesting if you're unable to share them. I dunno. I'd go with to c), but the real question is -- why can't you get your PS3 on the net?

Yeah. Based on you rambling chatter I got my sister Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time for Christmas. She's never touched (or showed an interest in) an "advanced" game in her life, enjoying stuff like dress-up flash games, but suddenly she's all making sure to pick up Oran berries, putting all her cash in the bank, opening with ranged attacks before the enemy gets close, shit like that. This pleases me to no end. I introduced her to Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, and she handled that pretty well too, although the timing aspect of the combat was challenging, which I can understand.

I also started playing it, and it's filling all sorts of voids for me. The achievements are a bit disappointing, but what are you gonna do. Something weird, though. I'm at the bit where I just got back on the boat after the first tomb, and the whole backtracking sequence felt a bit... empty, as if I, Dr. Doolittle style, inadvertently failed to step on all the sequence triggers on my way back. It's almost as if the game hasn't yet begun. Also: NO FUCKING MANSION?! Also: WHERE THE FUCK DO I CHANGE OUTFITS?

It's awesome that the even have Stephen Fry commenting stuff like gluing, wobble bolts, etc. edit: One thing that annoys me is that I haven't gotten the Expert Builder trophy, or whatever it's called, for doing every tutorial. I'm quite sure I've done them all, but is there a way to see which ones I could be missing?

So why isn't it a bullet point, huh?

An internet connection isn't one of my bullet points!

So, what's the proper way of doing this LBP multiplayer thing? I see some of you are online at times, but I don't dare do anything in fear or interrupting you and breaking shit. How do these things usually take place?
-
Dear Idle Thumbs, I have all these awesome level ideas for LBP, but when I open the the level editor and this huge blank space is staring back at me, I always end up making a squiggle attached to a burning box, and then I exit. What should I do? Sincerely, Toeblix

Right now I'm considering buying idlefarcry2.com.

Yeah, I just watched it on Youtube (I'm not starting up that game again unless it's to get some multiplayer achievements), and it was pretty awesome. It would be cool if they made the rest of the game like that. Awesome, I mean. BURN! Was there a back story to it, though? I unlocked another one of the doors, and it was a weird path backwards in time ("Memory Lane" or something) and it was pretty cool, but it seemed only half-finished, like they didn't have the time to add more than a chest with some shit in it. To me it's just confirming my theory that the game suffers heavily from having too much stuff in it, and that the project manager was an idiot. There's different types of things everywhere, different concepts, mechanics, etc. but none of them are very good, none of them mesh, and they have this huge fucking side quest inside this huge fucking castle with a huge fucking dungeon underneath that you'll only ever see if you buy the million dollar property, but when you browse equipment in a shop, you can't fucking compare it to the equipment you're currently wielding. What the fuck, Lionhead? edit: The voice work is fucking brilliant. The combat is fun and responsive. They experimented with a lot of things, which is cool. The music was beautiful. The mood in Oakvale was fantastic, just like Westfall. There was no ridiculously hard and tedious end boss. There's a lot of good jokes everywhere.

Also, there may be a Pokécast if you're early, with reviews of the latest Pokémon games, cards, meals, etc.

I can do Tuesdays.
-
Hey, Idle Thumbs, remember when you were making the forum, and you forgot to supply log_out with a message? You should probably do that now.
-
I'm open for changing the day or time of day, but we need a way of finding the time that catches the most people. Alternatively, we could for example do Tuesday and Wednesday every other week or something. Or we could have a manual scheduling every single week.

I'm in like a pin.

It's simple as a dimple: In whatever your header include file is called, replace this: <a href="login.php?do=logout&logouthash=[...]" onclick="return log_out()" [...] ...with this: <a href="login.php?do=logout&logouthash=[...]" onclick="return log_out('Arrrrr ye sure?')" [...]

Yes, and it's fucking hilarious, so you can start laughing right the fuck now. I mean, it's pointing out that ysbreaker is always playing GTA IV when I start Steam. At least he was a month ago when I made it. Maybe you had to be there, but trust me, it's objectively hilarious. -
