  2. How I Met Your Mother

Yeah, I guess. It's not super important since there's not much of a story, but it's a show that actually does reference itself in sometimes hilarious ways, and if you don't like the early stuff you won't like it at all. And yeah, it's mostly sitcom acting...
  3. How I Met Your Mother

I think it's awesome. I'm pretty torn about it because it has all these hallmarks of the Typical American Shitty Comedy Show, which usually makes me turn off instantly. I think I started watching it because there were a billion people in various roles who had also starred in Buffy/Angel, but I continued watching it because I found the script and acting to be hilarious enough of the time. Sometimes I'll smile all day thinking on a certain joke from an episode. It's not the Constantly Hilarious Show though, because for some reason it has to work within this established framework -- there's the emotional scenes, the (seemingly) canned laughter, the phony limitations of the stage, etc., but when the writing shows through it's all worth it, for me at least. I'd give it a couple of episodes, but if you don't like it by then it's probably not for you.
  4. New people: Read this, say hi.

Yeah, I'd also like to state that it's awesome that there are a bunch of new people coming. I was getting a bit tired of the ones that were already here. Hopefully the increased number of forum dudes can synergize with the podcast and create some exciting discussion which can improve the podcast, which I think has been pretty shit so far. Who cares, though, when there are no longer any fun games to play.
  5. Next² Generation Consoles

What, you mean like right now? Or ever?
  6. Free Range FTW!

    Really?
  7. Fallout 3

While I imagine the right one is less depressing to spend hours looking at, the left one seems more Fallouty. This also reminds me I haven't started playing this yet.
  8. Five BioShock sequels

Okay, so you only play, watch, read or listen to shit that's already been completed and approved by others? Regardless, these last comments about making a hojillion Bioshock games weren't even a part of it when the game was made. Did this suit's ideas retroactively make Bioshock suck or something? I don't get it.
  9. Free Range FTW!

I'm about to drink a fucking glass of milk motherfuckers!
  10. Five BioShock sequels

Well that doesn't make any sense.
  11. Free Range FTW!

We actually discussed this at work today. Maybe we're twins or something.
  12. New people: Read this, say hi.

Yeah, we must be more than ten people now!
  13. Mad Men

Jesus Christ, Mad Men is awesome like nobody's business. Just finished the second season and can't wait for the third to begin.
  14. Little BIG Planet

    Oh, ok.
  15. ‫‬‭‮‪‫‬‭‮Mirror's Edge

It's totally easy to run through the room. You just jump out of the thing, then run past the guy and into the corridor on the left. Then you jump over the thing and the other thing, then it's straight to the car and up. Fighting isn't necessary. The only place I had to fight was in the server room, because I had to get past that last dude. But I fought in slow motion.
  16. ‫‬‭‮‪‫‬‭‮Mirror's Edge

You just run through the room, avoiding all the dudes, jump on the truck and climb the thing.
  17. Wii Fit

You can say what you want about Nintendo, but no other company has had me jogging in place for twenty minutes. Well, the bus company did once, but that was only to keep myself from dying from exposure.
  18. ‫‬‭‮‪‫‬‭‮Mirror's Edge

There must be a magical way of playing that makes things easier/harder. I played without shooting anyone, and had no problems except the last one you're referring to, and that was before I found out you only have to break one in each cluster.
  19. Grand Thumb Auto

I'm posting this here in case some of you are ignoring the Multiplayer Networking sub-forum (I know I did for a while), and would like to partake in a casual couple of hours of driving and shooting once in a while. We've done seven sessions last year and they've been awesome. We've usually been about four people, but more of you should join. All you need is: An Xbox 360 An Xbox Live Gold membership A copy of GTA IV A fucking pair of balls We're considering which days are good for the most people in this thread here, so if any of you who haven't yet done this, but would like to, now's the time to let us know which days are best for you. It's totally non-binding: if you can't make it, no problem. Those who can show up, do, and we take it from there. So go buy yourself whatever it is you're lacking from the above bullet-list (a used copy of GTA IV should be available for cheap by now, right?) and come play! Also, if anyone would like to arrange this for other games (Little BIG Planet, anyone?) that would be awesome. It's just a matter of starting a thread. The hard part is coming up with sufficiently hilarious titles.
  20. New people: Read this, say hi.

WHAT?! If you're a man, you eat the whole apple.
  21. New people: Read this, say hi.

What the fuck? Is the forum actually censoring words? A fruit? Apple? Banana? Cunt? Durian? Eggfruit? Fig? Grape? Uh, honeydew melon? ********? Jujube? Kiwi? Oh, that reminds me. I discovered a while back that the best way of eating a kiwi is just like an apple, skin and all. People are all suprised when I tell them, which is something I do often and unprovoked, but I have a theory most people eat it whole. How do you eat your kiwi?
  22. Grand Thumb Auto for the new year

It would be totally awesome to play GTA with ysbreaker and his mom!
  23. Grand Thumb Auto for the new year

Hey, 61 is not that old.
  24. A Prince of Persia?

Yeah, for some reason I got the impression they'd done the Half-Life continuous thing, but I guess that would be challenging if she's going all over the world. So you're saying level 3 looks like shit?
  25. A Prince of Persia?

Oh, so there are discrete levels? I got the impression everything was just continuous or something.
