It's awesome when you can't tell if it's a joke. -
Can't hear you over the sound of my playing The Lost and Damned on my Xbox 360.

I just watched the first mission intro, and I really noticed the lip-sync differences between Billy and what's his name.

Grand Thumb Auto XV: Significant Digits

Hopefully I'll also have my Xbox up and running too, as well, which I know is what you've really been waiting for. -
Remember, if the game was exactly like The Divine Comedy, then it would just be text adventure game with Dante talking to people the entire time.

Grand Thumb Auto XV: Significant Digits

To everyone playing tonight, FUCK YOU -
So anyway, I just bought this the other day, stumbling upon it on the PS store and seeing it was dirt cheap. So now I've been driving around, doing some of the various types of challenges, etc. It seems like there's a billion things going on everywhere, though, which makes me wonder what the main things to do are. I've been driving around on my own, doing the challenges. Is there multiplayer? How does it work? What does the party pack I also bought do? What are "road rules"? Is wrecking your car harder when you're not in an event?

I thought the most awesome thing in the last episode (not counting Dichen Lachman) was the little head shake thing at the end.

Video-games you originally hated, but ended up loving

How about "Games that love you, but you don't love them back"? -
You must be. When has anything good come of converting something from hand-drawn 2D to 3D?

Long story short, we had an awesome forum on IGN's Vault Network boards. It was initially based around the development and subsequent release of Arcanum, and there were a bunch of awesome people there, resulting in lots of awesome threads. Suddenly a mod came and said she had been appointed to make sure we followed the board rules, and that meant enforcing stupid shit like not swearing, having maximum one "game thread", deleting long threads, etc. So a full-on war started which ended with me getting banned because I said something like "fuck IGN", which was forbidden because it was anti-IGN. So, I started a rebel forum at toblix.com, where there was no laws but our own, etc. Problem was, the moment one of the other guys on the IGN board posted a link or reference to toblix.com (or just toblix), he/she would also be banned, because linking to an anti-IGN site was not allowed. This resulted in some hilarious suicide runs where one would change ones signature to the forbidden url and start spamming it everywhere, seing how many posts you could get in before being banned. In the end the community pretty much died. Not everyone wanted to leave the IGN forums and start posting on another, and a lot of people simply didn't get the notice, because everything related to my nick was deleted by the IGN nazi troops. I've always stuck to just one forum at a time, this being the third one. The second one was IGN and the first was The Unwashed Villagers, if anyone remembers. Anyway, "this game blahblah shit fuck rape" - IGN.com edit:

Not to post without having an awesome quote, but I just remembered that toblix.com has been labeled an "anti IGN" site, and posting links to it on the IGN boards gets you permabanned. I think that's six kinds of awesome.

Whoa! You must be crazy. Those are awesome hand-drawn cartoon frames!

Wow, this thread is awesome. I really raclette not reading it sooner!

This reminds me I have to get around to playing that Jew game of his.

Meh, I've seen better.

I loved the dissonance, although I'd rather call it pacing.

Nope, it turns out UPS didn't let me change the delivery address. This means I'll have to work from home the on the day of delivery just to be able to pick it up, which is a bit annoying.

Yeah, that's a good point. It's because the applications are protected by putting them in a location where the normal user does not have access. A root user, which is that the Dev Phone gives you, would be able to copy these around willy-nilly. It's kind of silly, but it's not a big issue for me, since I'm more interested in the developer aspects of it. One ironic point, though, is that as a developer you can't see your own non-free applications in the Market.
-
Yeah, with the Dev Phone you get an 1GB card and an SIM-unlocked phone with root access. I don't know if the G1 has the awesome USB debugging feature.

Holy Moly, apparently the warranty is back to being valid again. There's a return tracking number too, although it's not active yet. I spoke to MS today about changing the delivery address, but they said it was impossible for "security reasons". This means I'll have to work from home one day just to wait for a package. Of course, judging by the level of misinformation and confusion I've experienced every time I've communicated with the Xbox 360 service apparatus, I might just be able to call UPS and have them deliver it at the office instead.
