Holy moly

I got more of the "doomed to crumble" feeling than "poorly kept" when playing. Also, outside (i.e. in the water) sequences has been confirmed.

Wasn't the whole place about to collapse from the very start?

Grand Thumb Auto XVII: Collector's Edition

It WAS fun. Next time I'll try not to talk so much. -
I have long had a sneaking suspicion being exposed to the internet slowly hollows you out. So, sometimes I do a test to see if I'm still sane. I do this by reading dead baby jokes. I remember the first time I came over them, probably about ten years ago. I was pretty shocked and offended that people would find this funny. Now, I find I don't find it shocking at all. Obviously I've been desensitised by the fukungs, 4chans and IGN.com quote baby rape threads. Logically, this has also happened to everyone else. Doesn't this mean we're all going to hell or something? If each generation finds less and less things disturbing, where does it end? Anyway, my download of the Nanny Mania 2: Goes to Hollywood demo just finished. See you later.

I think defining a sprite is a little like defining a book.

Work to prepare? Don't you just have to throw some shit in a bag, put on your 8bit t-shirt and go? Or do you mean real work?
-
Yeah, it's probably not a standardised term.

So, what does everyone think? I bought it and expected my life to fall apart around me as I sat playing for days on end while my ass-skin merged with the textile of my chair, like with Puz 1, but sadly I was disappointed. Although fun, the whole space ship (more like space shit) thing is just stupid, waiting for the fucking thing to fly to where you just moved your mouse so your click can register. That's bullshit. And too many fucking jumpgates. Oh, and the puzzle game mechanics aren't as fun. I don't know why the first one hooked me to such a degree, maybe I was in a bad place.

Just popping in to say that this thread is awesome. Just take a moment and scroll down from the top. Look at all the nice, thick posts.

Grand Thumb Auto XVI: The 'Blix is Back
toblix replied to miffy495's topic in Multiplayer Networking
Well, that was fun! Funny story: After dinner yesterday, I inadvertently fell asleep due to exhaustion and was awakened by my mother calling me about something. By then it was forty minutes past, which is why I was so late. And also why I sucked (my mouth tasted like old dinner). After playing I just fell back asleep. The new game modes seemed interesting. Hopefully we'll try them more next time. It's great that we're more people now. I remember back in the old days, where we'd be like three guys playing. Imagine that, three. -
Yes, it lasted for about five seconds, and felt just like playing Little Big Planet when I get the guys mixed up, and the controls start feeling... off, somehow.
-
Yeah, but is it just them posting a story on the web site and adding quests, or is actual awesome shit taking place in-game?
-
Okay, I'll bite. What the fuck are you talking about?

But... the guns and combat are awesome in HL2, so I must me missing something. Are we talking about another game called Half-Life 2? -

Sunday? That's less than a week away! I'm in. Unless three other people start playing before I get there.
