Exported all RB1 songs and installed RB2 last night. Looked over the list of available downloadable songs and albums. Holy fucking fuck.

I was so impressed by it working in Firefox.

Okay, we did vanilla last time, which I thought was a massive success. Which one should we do tonight, at 21:00 GMT? Also, who will be attending? I hope I will be.

Obviously this is an attempt at programming, using the word arrow. It worked for me, at least, which is always awesome.

It seems the cab AI is as awesome as it is in GTA IV. I still remember my cabby busting through the toll gate without paying, which resulted in a high-speed car chase, with the driver cursing all the cop cars trying to ram him off the road. It ended with us trapped in a cluster of about seven cars which finally exploded.

Well, that was awesome. GTA races are so fucking awesome. They're so cool. They're like awesome flavoured ice-cream. The frantic opening seconds where we turn into a katamari of firetrucks, the racing around and suddenly having to maneuver through firefights among burning car wrecks. So awesome.

Just ordered the DVD 2. Shipping was twice the cost of the DVD itself, but that's what you get for living out in the wilderness.

Just finished this, and I gotta say: having played through it, it was right about what I expected all along. It was a sweet game, but it shouldn't have been a Fallout game. Most impressed by: Loading and saving this game was fucking fast. Have the technical details of how they managed this amazing feat been revealed somewhere? The world of FO3 was huge and filled with amazing shit. Disappointed by: With so much fucking combat, they should've made it less boring. VATS should've been super snappy and not take as long to start up as the game itself. So many fucking subway stations. Getting around in the down town area was a bitch. This should've been made simpler.

This is completely true. Norwegians traditionally read a lot of crime novels during Easter. The term for it is påskekrim ("Easter crime"). Also, all the television channels show a bunch of crime mini-series, and each year there's a new mini-crime-story on all the milk cartons (Norwegians also drink milk like mother fuckers) written by some Norwegian author. This year it was Erlend Loe. Also, during Easter, crime is allowed in Norway.

Currently playing through the solo drum career thing on easy. It's really fun, and the challenge curve is about right. For the most part It feels more like a pattern matching game than playing the drums, though. If I start playing by the drum track I fail right away, because lots of complicated shit is represented by one single red note. I know it was like that in Guitar Hero as well, and it didn't feel like you were playing the guitar until a ways into medium. I hope (and expect) the drum feeling to become more authentic as I get closer to the end of easy / a ways into medium. Also, I swear the drums are ignoring quite a few of my perfect hits.

Anyway, just ordered the ION kit. I'm so screwed with regards to storage space.

Okay, so what's the best way to shut the drum set the fuck up? Is there a pack of adhesives I can buy or something? Are there any must-do mods other than silencing the drums?

Played this last night, and had one bitch of a time with the controllers, selecting/creating players, logging in, etc. Playing was awesome.

Tuesday March 14th. Vanilla GTA IV. Ice cream van GTA race. This will be exquisite. Who's in?

Yes, this was awesome to 2π. Even considering TLAD, I really think vanilla GTA races are the best events. There's such a nice mix of hardcore racing at the beginning, and fucking shit up at the end. If you want to race, you can. If you want to gather a huge fucking pile of exploding shit, go right ahead.

Oh, but then I finished early, bought Rock Band 1 & 2, rocked out with my brother and sister then finished the evening with getting rectally reamed by rockets in GTA IV. So, life is epic.

I was going to buy Rock Band 1&2 today and rock out tonight, but now I'm working late instead. I WISH I WERE DEAD!!!!!

So there's no single player stuff unique to RB1 that I won't get by just importing it, like stages or characters or whatever? I mean other than what you mentioned.

Oh, looks like someone accidentally all the replies to my previous question. Let me rephrase: Should I play through the RB1 single player before playing RB2?
