This question will haunt you for as long as you live.

Why would the crabs get in the rib cage?

Soooooooooo

Yeah, the Alice Eve underwear scene was weird – it's obviously pandering, but I'd love to hear how that scene made its way into the script and how it remained there, how she felt about it, etc. Filming a modern movie scene is complicated and requires lots of people, right? How did they talk about the scene? I have so many questions.

Unlike what you ought to expect from a government operative, torture is probably the kind of intelligence gathering techniques desperate post-apocalyptic scavenger gangs would apply. After seeing how much care and attention they put into their sick execution moves, though, I'm not sure I would like to play a game based on trying to watching five of them in a row each round.
-
Didn't we co-op that? Wasn't that the one we co-oped?
-
Yeah, and there are lots of ways they could prevent embedding, too, if they really minded.
-
Oh wait wait is this the weird giant bug shooting game?
-
Yes, but they've also said that they're giving Reddit users more freedom and exempt them from many of their rules. Also, I think they want people to link (to the Imgur page,) and not embed, but I can't remember why I think that. Also, I don't really worry about that.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to, though my impression was they were talking about streaming a distorted image for people to view on their Rift, which is the scenario I feel will lead to lots of chunks being blown. Seeing a normal view of them playing on the Rift would be cool, though.

I fear that one day Imgur will find out people are just uploading pictures and embedding them directly all over the web, and they'll panic and go out of business.

Gaaaah, it's so frustrating! I know I'll only play through the story once, and now I'll be doing so knowing that a much better version could be out in only a few months. In a way, I hope they never release for other platforms, so I'll always have played the best version.

Wouldn't streaming VR like that just end up covering hundreds of people and goggles in vomit?
-
What? Are you sure? They've made a lot of movies.
-
Yeah, too late, Teach!

WELL THAT WAS FUN.

Okay, new plan: Nobody posts in this thread until Half-Life 3 is 100% certifiably confirmed by Valve. No speculation, no German leaks, no nothing. The next post in this thread will contain a screenshot, or at least a logo. If you agree/disagree, don't post!

I know this only leads to confusion and despair, but ... I'd be willing to do other nights, maybe alternating?

SHIT MAN SCHOOL SUKKKKKS

So who's up for this tonight? Nobody, like last time? Huh?
-
So Chris Carter is developing a new show for AMC, and Vince Gilligan is done with Breaking Bad, and Gillian Anderson is doing short British TV series and nobody would mind Californication ending. I'm not saying they're making a new X-Files, but WHAT IF THEY ARE!

WARNING: I may have posted these exact sentiments earlier. I'm getting it on day one for a console, since I don't want to have to avoid spoilers and hear how great the game is while waiting for an announcement that may never even come. I got GTA IV for Xbox 360, which turned out well, since it had the best performance and we did like 80 sweet multiplayer sessions on Live. This time around, though, it's not sure which platform will have the best version, nor who will get it for which console (if any.) I wonder if Digital Foundry's inevitable GTA V 360 vs PS3 face-off will come out before or after release. Surely they're releasing review copies in advance, right? ALSO, I hope that everything is synced to their server thing, so I can have the same guy on all platforms. Since they're tying the singleplayer and multiplayer so closely together, and Social Club is cross-platform, I sure hope so.

I bought PvZ and loved it. It had a good balance of simplicity and addictiveness (not a word?!) and I actually ended up finishing it through many small sessions on my phone. This game I'm not spending an øre on, though, so in my case they made a bad call. I'm not going to be surprised when they report having earned two hundred thousand million dollars on it, though.
