  1. Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story

Superstar Saga, yes. I'm wondering if I ever got around to playing that. I have to equally credible memories, one of me almost buying it and then not, and the other of me buying it and playing it, and not liking it as much. Ah well, it's too late now, with my GBA slot not existing anymore. It could be that Superstar Saga was even more awesome than M&L, so that if you had played the former you would experience disappointment at the relative awesomeness, but if you hadn't, you'd only experience the absolute awesomeness. Sounds scientific and right. Also, I could just be liking mediocre games.
  2. Dear Wrestlevania, This is a perfect example of a post which should be its own thread. You know only five people read this thread. Go, boy, make a Minerva thread. Go on! Sincerely, Your friend, Me, toblix xxxoooxxx []<§ HUGS N" KISSES'
  3. Left 4 Thumbs

Additional alert: Crash Course is coming out next week, which I assume means we'll be playing that next Sunday.
  4. Good times! This time I never focused on winning, but prioritised being annoying and getting the way of others. Alas! the Xbox 360 headset's poor build quality prevented me from sharing with you my many intelligent sayings.
  5. Yeah, but that's to be expected since crazy ventilation systems comprise more than 80% of all FPS levels.
  6. Yeah, I got that, but I also got the impression there was more of a comment on the architecture as a whole on the island. I dunno, I may be all wrong and incorrect.
  7. Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story

That Partners in Time is awesome is one of the few universal constants, like the speed of light in vacuum and the mass of an electron. I think you should carefully reconsider your statement. edit: DISCLAIMER -- I'm joking. In fact, I would like to know why you didn't like it.
  8. I remember there being some critique or ridicule of the Arkham Asylum level design, but I didn't really catch the drift before they moved on to something else. Could someone explain what the opinion was?
  9. Persona 4 Endurance Run

I started watching this last night, and it's pretty fun. I've only watched about ten episodes, but this is one of those typical epic undertakings that I initiate, and then do nothing but watch this for another fifty episodes and then burn and crash at five in the morning and lose my job.
  10. No, it's the one in the bottle at the bottom of the trash pile in the alley in the secret town or whatever (I've really not been paying much attention to the story) The trash is at the top, and there are four L-shapes and a short piece, and I can't fucking get the trash down into the bottom bin. It's ridiculous, I've always just completed these puzzles by moving shit around, but with this one I can't get anywhere. In fact, for about ten seconds I was convinced I had managed to get every piece stuck at the same time.
  11. That's what I used to think, until I found the impossible one. And the hints are ass like shit.
  12. Fuck Professor Layton and his stupid sliding block puzzles!
  13. Life

I called the cops on some dudes setting up a bonfire outside my house last night.
  14. Novint Falcon

Wow, just tried the ball touching demo. That was pretty sweet. It's like they have those balls inside the Falcon!
  15. Novint Falcon

Holy crap, that was what I thought at first! So I launched L4D, but I couldn't use the Falcon, and didn't find any mention of it in the options, so I assumed I would have to download hacked exes or something. From what you're saying, both Ep1 and Ep2 should have native support as well?
  16. Novint Falcon

Holy crap, I'm trying to write this while installing fucking Newton's Circus or whatever "in the background". For everyone of these little games a new window steals window focus like we're in 1991. Lame. Anyway, sorry for mixing up the terms. I've installed the drivers, no problem. I can also confirm that the device is working by running the diagnostics program. My issue is with the HL2 mod, which simply won't install. The nvent (or whatever it's called) dvd just finished installing, so I'll check again now. Interesting note: Novint recommends against using nvent to launch games, and says you should run the exes from inside the Program Files folder. It's clear that these guys work with hardware primarily. About downloading the ISO, the first thing I found when opening the box was a sheet warning me not to use the drivers included on the DVD, but to download them instead. Since I'm still not entirely clear on what constitutes the driver, and what's just useless shit, I just played it safe and downloaded the ISO as well.
  17. Novint Falcon

So, got my Falcon yesterday, and I'm trying to set it up now. I've finished downloading Half-Life 2, and downloaded the Haptics-Life 2 (...) driver, but the driver setup won't install, giving me a weird error message when I click next. So now I'm downloading their 1.1Gb ISO image with all those shit games on, in hopes that installing that will somehow make stuff work.
  18. Alas! it was not the flu, only my yearly vist from aunt Snot.
  19. Movie/TV recommendations

    The thread is still twitching!
  20. It's nice to hear you were having a good old time whilst I was lying in my bed, thoughts running through my head, thinking I might've been infected by the swine flu.
  21. I'm going off the rails on a crazy (hype) train

Well, they're spoilers, but not only in the classical sense of revealing plot points, characters, etc, but also in that they adjust your expectations.
  22. I'm going off the rails on a crazy (hype) train

I'm wondering how much this has to do with my love for Arkham Asylum. I had no interest in it at all, didn't read any previews or anything, and then bam.
