So, check this shit out (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/05/hands-on-scribblenauts/). It's a puzzle/action game where you just write something and the game spawns it from its huge dictionary. Replay value is added by preventing the same word from being used more than once, so you'll have to solve the same puzzle in different ways.

Okay, let's see. It seems to me I can't buy it as a gift since it's not out yet.

Just finished Lair of the Leviathan, and it was excellent. Jake, could you tell us a little about what your role in this one entailed? I get the impression you've "risen" from web stuff to in-game menu stuff to whatever co-director is, no doubt propelled by your awesome island-to-ship transitions in The Siege of Spinner Cay, and I'm pretty sure everyone is interested in what role you're playing in these games. I totally get it if you can't/won't talk much about it, of course. Anyway, great work! You guys're slowly becoming the LucasArts of the future.

Wow, I really didn't think Batman would do the thing where it gets impossible for me to continue. I gave up at the fight after failing multiple times. I think boss fights are fun, but they always start sending in the thugs, at which point it just gets stressful. I realized that all the boss fights will likely be like that, especially the end fight, so I quit while I still loved the game. The might be the best, I dunno... thing to be in a game, ever. It was just so well done. I actually thought . So well done. So, awesome game. I'm happy I got it, and I know I'd probably beat this boss in the end, but I'd just keep playing knowing that all the later bosses would be harder still.

Generous? generōsus is my middle name.

What if I already have the game and buy the four pack? Huh? WHAT THEN?!
-
How would this work? Can one person buy the package and give away all four games, or only three of them?

Idle Thumbs 45: Episode Forty-Five

Objection! That is conjecture, we don't know she said that! -
Yeah, it's amazing to me that these types of shows haven't developed the world's most efficient way of explaining to guests exactly what to do in those crucial moments when you get in and when they cut to commercials. I mean, the guests've been waiting in a room, right? They could tell them in there!

Yeah, but I couldn't watch it because I couldn't stop myself from revealing the beginning of your attached spoiler saying it was , and I don't like things.

Well, I honestly don't know what to expect. Could it be that the main character pops his head out through a hole and makes hilarious comments based on which items you select? Or maybe... no, I could only imagine that one thing. So I guess I will be surprised after all. Unless someone spoils it first.

Holy crap, I haven't tried the demo, but from what you've all been saying, I can't wait to try out the main menu!

It seems it only does weird things to your posts, in that you have less width available. If you want your posts to be instantly recognizable, I'd keep it. It's more effective than any avatar. Oh, and hello everyone.

This preview came out recently. I think it's strange that the technical game details are still so heavily focused on here, when it ends up with them seeming all defensive: They're going to have bullet time, but it will not be like all the other games and it'll be much better! And they'll have a cover system, but it won't be the focus of the combat and you can approach it in different ways! And he'll be able to climb around (no doubt the Assassin's Creed climbing 2.0 all games have to have to be taken seriously). If they reveal that it'll be "open world" later on I won't exactly fall on my ass in surprise. So, they spend all this time describing what could be any upcoming AAA third person shooter, and almost none on what'll likely be the interesting part -- the story of Fat Max Payne in Brazil.

Holy shit, it's like "scoop" and "boost" are common English words! -
I sometimes dream that big gaming companies care what "gamer nerds" think, but I'm always disappointed in the end. Bioware, for example, is an example of this.

When Jake says "ship it", they ship it.
