Yeah, nothing is worse than playing with people who are quiet. Well, except those who say nothing at all.

I was just reminded of something I had forgotten. A couple of times while playing I got something that looked like a cheap achievement notification, saying "action performed" or something. I kept expecting it to tie into the story later, but it never did. Anyone have these, and know what they were about? I would assume making "fake" achievement pop-ups were against regulations.

Oh, cool. For some reason I had the impression they had single player in BF1942 to appease "the suits" or something, and that they were really going for a multiplayer only thing. So there's a real campaign with some sort of storyline, and not just a bunch of bot skirmishes? That's pretty cool.

I didn't even know there was a singleplayer mode in the Battlefield games any more.

Okay, let me just redefine the noob scale then. I guess I should play some hours of single player before I even attempt multiplayer.

Holy Maloney, this may be the best cast ever. Everyone was great, but, really, Jake dominated this time. Just the right mix of cool anecdotes, news and zany hijinx. Also, thanks for mentioning the multiplayer board. Maybe we'll get a full eight player Forza 3 session.
