They may ask if they can dispatch a Microsoft agent to your place of residence and verify that you are installing it on one computer only.

Jesus, has this happened to everyone? It's so lame, too. Although I was asked in Norwegian, the question was "How many computers have you installed Microsoft™ Windows™ on?". I though I'd be nice and give them the total number of computers I had installed Windows on, but it turns out it was just a trap and they were only asking about that specific license. Since then, whenever someone asks me a question where the correct answer is given in the form of an element of ℕ, I always reply "one".

Civilization IV: Shut the Hell Up, Montezuma

Yeah, I've asked them to increase the inbox size, since 100 is pretty small. Anyway, I cleared out some old stuff, so send again plz thx -
You just install Windows on the new computer and enter the key. If automatic activation fails, call the number that appears and explain the situation, and they'll give you a new key.

Collaborative gaming is an awesome idea, although I guess the chances of everybody who sign up actually getting to to play are slim, especially with newbies earlier in the chain. How long would those 6 months to a year take in non-dwarven time? Also, how much effort do you have to put into reading up to be able to play? Also, I'm completely interested.

There are still three or four unclaimed spots. We've only taken a couple of moves, so feel free to PM me for the connection info. -
Credits are rolling now, and yeah, this game was an enormous letdown. The most level most true to Splinter Cell was probably the Something Box level, which allowed for quite a bit of sneaking and taking guys out one by one, but mostly -- and towards the end, completely -- it's just pouring in squads of people who can see you in the dark. The engine was sweet, with some nice mechanics like the "where they think you are" ghost Fisher, and they could've made a terrific SC game with it if they wanted to. It's not even like they tried, though, they just made a game about shooting lots of soldiers and called it Splinter Cell. Anyway, at least I got some gamer points, and I'm ready for Red Dead Redemption tomorrow.

That's probably because you shot a man in the back, like a coward.

I'm all lubed up for PC GTA IV. Everyone should record everything always all the time!

Damn it, I missed a race with James? Hope you'll show up next time I do, as I expect you haven't dedicated so much of your life to perfecting your Forza 3 skills as everyone else. Any sweet shots or clips from the races?

What? Isn't he the "Life, nanananana" guy?!

This was awesome. Good to have a chockablock game after some weeks of not playing at all.

Oh, okay. I'm looking at the little window, and it only shows me. When was it you connected? -
You guys, I think you're on to something... a fundemental flaw in the game's implementation of time travel!

So I've been looking forward to Shutter Island, and heard it was coming out today on Bluray. Except that's only in the US. It's not out here until August. I wonder if the bluray will be ripped and pirated long bef-- oh wait it's already all over the torrent sites.

Okay, we're up and running. PM me for the URL and password. I might have to open a port or two if it doesn't handle that for me. I also added the game to CivStats, although I'm not sure I know what I'm doing. -

This thread says someone with a non-steam version will have to send me a patched exe for this to work. -

Okay, so I downloaded the pitboss exe and threw it into the civ folder. Then, it started patching my game: I am not hopeful. -

It seems there's a problem with hosting vanilla pitboss games using the Steam version (which is what I have). -
Damn it, it has changed, but I swear I'm not lying!
