  1. Hock and Sock leaves Ubisoft

Ahhh this music! I LOVE YOU!
  2. Costume Quest

If you haven't played his adventure games, but like great writing, you should really check out all the LucasArts adventure games in the world.
  3. Worms reloaded

Anyone know how many people can play together? If I remember correctly, you define a team of eight worms, and then your actual team can be a subset of that if there are enough players.
  4. Jones in the Fast Lane

I played a game of Jones in the Fast Lane at work today, and it struck me that this must be close to the ultimate test of how big a role nostalgia can play when evaluating a game. I played the crap out of Jones as a young boy, and today it's still fun and addictive. However, if a crack team were to enter a special craft, be miniaturized and injected into my blood, travel to my brain and remove all my childhood memories of Jones in the Fast lane using a high-powered laser, how would I perceive the game today? Nobody knows. However, if any of you people here by some crazy chance have never heard of this game, could you take a look and tell me what you think?
  5. Hock and Sock leaves Ubisoft

This post made my week. Thanks!
  6. Why would someone have a shirt like this?
  7. Torchlight 2

Apparently it was just announced. Seems it's a straight-up co-op thing rather than the MMO that was discussed earlier.
  8. Irrational it is. Congratulations, Chris!
  9. A new SWAT game would be fully sweet!
  10. Batman: Arkham City

You should definitely play Arkham Asylum. It's an extremely good game.
  11. Neptune's Bountiful Pride 3

    Take my spot, please.
  12. BioShock 2

Okay, so I'm not really big on DLC, but this I'm getting for sure. Why? Apparently Steve Gaynor is writer and lead designer.
  13. @chrisremo just tweeted:This week of GamersGate's Summer Sale is all RPGs. Great deals in here............including one game from my new employer http://j.mp/cFRXCy edit: I'm betting it's Focus Home Interactive.
  14. Neptune's Bountiful Pride 3

If there is a free slot nobody else (including new guys) want, I'm in.
  15. Jones in the Fast Lane

Here's an alternate link in case you want something that looks like absolute fucking shit.
  16. Life

Unless your cable has been treated horribly, stretched and bent, I'll bet a million dollars it's the connectors. Anyway, a new preterminated cable shouldn't cost a fortune either, so whatever.
  17. Torchlight 2

But it is multiplayer, just not massively so.
  18. Life

Sounds like a dodgy RJ-45. If you have the tools, just replace the connector(s).
  19. Jones in the Fast Lane

I'm not kidding, if you get a job at the fast food joint, you can work until the end of the day and then finish off with fries. It's super work when you're studying.
  20. Jones in the Fast Lane

Not to derail the thread, but I played Lost Dutchman Mine a lot. It was before I was old enough to get it, so I always ended up dying in some ditch, but I remember running around on the map, fishing, exploring mines, shooting snakes, etc. Also, this game taught me the words consume and old timer.
  21. Yeah, I'm also wondering about that. I'm still playing, although I've fallen behind it seems.
  22. Starcraft II

I'm semi-eagerly awaiting a boxed copy, just for the key.
  23. Jones in the Fast Lane

I played it single player, which meant I used the old tactic I developed back in the day. Get a job as a clerk at the fast food place, enroll to some course, then work the rest of the day, eating fries as the last action. Then, every day, head to school and study for half the day, then work the rest and eat fries. After a while, you should be able to get a low-level job at the factory, which means you can afford a fridge and start buying food for weeks at a time. Then just do the work/study loop until you get the manager position at the factory, buy lots of shit, study everything and live like a king until you win.
  24. Half Minute Hero.... time to dust off your PSP!

Sounds fun, but also so stressful I would never be able to play it. Also, it's for PSP, no?
