Actually myself and Nick were fairly close to being involved. I missed the second big blast at Kings Cross Station by 20 minutes, it's on the tube route i take daily to work. And Nick was about 30 minutes behind me i think, so by the time he got around that area the explosion had already occurred and they were evacuating. Nick ended up in Kings Cross. So yeah, we were near, but thankfully not so near to be in harms way.

Yes, they have and yes, they were crap. However, everyone knows that the only "real" Top Gun game is SEGA's Afterburner, which, based on what Spaff and I saw during Sega's presentation at E3, will be returning soon to destroy us all.

His accent is from New York, the reason it sounds a bit odd is his stilted manner of speaking - he basically pauses momentarily mid-sentence and the such, as though he's thinking about how to complete the sentence. lailoken: I interviewed him for a magazine that was doing a feature on him.

I interviewed him once - very down to earth and bewildered by his rep as a weird/scary person, which, ironically, makes him seem weird.

Darkstalkers is a 2D fighter, part of the Vampire Chronicles series. Pretty good, the fighting system was quite interesting and the character designs stood out from other fighters.

Get the Vibration pack/edition. Your Rez gaming life is incomplete without it.

Another couple of decent titles (one of which i've had a hands on with) Darkstalkers and Tales of Eternia.

Too many gaming items to mention...but right at this particular moment the one that comes to mind (mainly because I have spent the last week and beyond that the last year-and-a-half, on and off, searching for it) is the ASCII FT arcade stick (Capcom version) for the DC. ...I already have its twin - the SNK version. If anyone knows where I can find one or has one they're willing to part with PM me. I will consider paying lots of money or selling my body; alternatively, failing that, and in the spirit of this thread I will gladly kill you.

True...frightening, but true. Also, this year's dreamcast release (actually games are released about once a month, though not all are official) is, predictably, a Shmup called Trizeal. Hehe, well i have mentioned quite a few fighters but i mentioned only the ones that have genuinely excellent mechanics and gameplay (SF: Third Strike, MvC2) or offer something a bit different/unique (Jojos, Poetic Justice). As a fan of fighters i like most (including the ones that most others consider crap!) but even I would concede that Last blade 2 is slightly limited in gameplay and doesn't offer as much as say, the Samurai Showdown series on Neo Geo AES. So yeah, that's why I didn't include it. Same thing for Garou: Mark of Wolves, lest i turn it into a DC fighters orgy... ¬¬ Anyway, what's your issue with Powerstone? The first is good fun, though flawed in some respects, but the second one is just insane and pure instacum!
