  1. Far Cry 4: A grenade rolls down everest

Have they said anything about the "shape" of the world in FC4? Would be super cool if it was set on one enormous mountain, with the player starting in the foothills and working their way to the top throughout the game. Using the wingsuit to escape down the slope then acts as a form of automatic difficulty correction.
  2. The threat of Watch Dogs

I am a bit on the fence on whether to get Watch Dogs; it's gotten a rather tepid critical response. As someone who enjoys the blissful productivity/zero challenge nature of the Assassin's Creed map-tidying games, is this something similar? Can I just tool around unmolested picking up cyber-feathers except when I feel the peculiar urge to do a tiny bit of plot?
  3. It might seem minor, but the added anti-aliasing in the re-release is a real gift to the (already very pleasing) graphical style. I never played any of the single player campaigns the first time around - are they worth a look? The Cold War one sounds tempting.
  4. New people: Read this, say hi.

Idle greetings - I am a game developer (art, code, general dogsbody) from the UK currently working at Goldhawk Interactive (we just shipped Xenonauts!). I've been an Idle Thumbs reader since it came back from hiatus; the guys have seen me through many a tedious commute into London. I haven't regularly posted on any forums for a while, but with Xenonauts shipped I've decided to give it a try here. I'm also @LaughMech on Twitter, though rather an infrequent tweeter.
