4 hours-ish in and I'm still wandering around White Orchard, the starter area that's pretty bloody big to be fair. Loving just walking around the world - the combination of high / ultra and post-processing settings I'm using has it locked in at 60 frames / 1080p and the whole thing has an awesome, colourful painterly look about it.

Cracking episode - really can't wait for the end. If Mad Men's shown me anything, it's that I have no idea what's going to happen.
-
I think it's pretty well known that it's Shin Feign, it's all the other weird Irish words and names that are the problem.
-
Yeah, something in the chain is reporting something wrong. Current setting's working fine though - fairly high settings locked at 60 FPS and 1080p - so I'm not gonna mess around much more with them.
-
I set the game to 59Hz and vsync off in its options, then turned on adaptive vsync in the Nvidia control panel to lock it at 60 FPS. The game options would only let me choose 29 and 59, weirdly.

I think the next Danswers with Dan, Danny and Thumb's very own Danielle is up shortly, perhaps today?
This is up and enjoyable - lots of fitness tips and even some east coast accents.
-
Maybe the show's on HBO in the UK? Do they even have HBO in the UK?
Nope, we have Sky Atlantic which picks up things like Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire and Mad Men; so it gets jumbled in as "HBO".
-
Yeah, it's not the most difficult mistake to make - these three-letter names all merge in to one.

Mad Men's back, the sun's out and Rich Sommer's done an interview about Firewatch - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-04-06-the-voice-behind-one-of-this-years-most-fascinating-games - aw yeah.

I have an amazing latex pillow which people always scoff at (because of the (recommended retail) price, which I didn't pay), until they try it then they think it's the best thing ever. So much to be said for not skimping on your mattress and pillows.

Sat here in my Thumbs' shirt listening to Idle Thumbs 200, the motherfuckin' sixer. Congrats Nick (and everyone).

Holy shit, the closest thumb to me is monkehhh, whoever he is. :/
Hi there! If you see a 30-something someone with not much hair and an Idle Thumbs t-shirt in Leeds, it's probably me.

Well this was pretty much fantastic, did a couple of endings and spent about 17 hours doing them. Think I might keep it installed and try for some more stars (got a measly four) and see what's happening on the Steam Workshop. It's one of those puzzle games where you can be lost for quite a long time, go eat a sandwich, come back and solve it in thirty seconds - my favourite kind.
Leave it, rent it or buy it? Buy it.

I was browsing for cheap stuff I haven't played and a few things caught my eye:
E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy - 0.99€
Bleed - 1.25€
Hexcells - 1€
Anyone got anything good or bad to say about those?
John Walker over at Rock Paper Shotgun absolutely loved Hexcells, and that prices looks pretty good to me.

Can anyone confirm how large the windows version is? PCGamingWiki states 8GB, my laptop is nearing full capacity.
My install folder is 5GB.

Picked CKII up super-cheap through Nuveem (Brazilian site) yesterday - I'm listening to old Thumbs and I'm just past Nick and Chris's tales of Ragnar, couldn't resist.

You can go from completely automatic to completely manual gears (using a fancy h-shifter joystick thing) - I usually have it in the mode where I select reverse, neutral or forwards and it handles the gearing. Binding the cruise control key to your controller is handy too.

The Blu-ray boxset smells good, much better than The Sopranos one.
I believe your homework is the original pilot (not the international one) - it's 94 minutes long.

I would recommend Pocket Casts (I use it every day on my HTC One M8).
-
Not a podcast, but related: Pocket Casts has announced a web based version. You can sign up for the beta here. The UI is pretty sparse at the moment, but it syncs your progress with the mobile versions. I'm loving it so far because it lets me listen to my podcasts at work and pick up where I left off during my commute.
This is really good! They offer you a week's trial for free, then a one-off cost of $9 to use it forever. I bought it straight away because the people who make Pocket Casts have always been great at responding to my issues and fixing them super quick.

Can link the multiplayer now I'm at home - http://ets2mp.com/
It reminds me of the Just Cause 2 multiplayer mod in how it's a launcher that runs the Steam version of the game and does fancy stuff behind the scenes to get over a 1000 people on to a server.

to get my leaderboard score a little higher
Sad that the Android version has no leaderboard

Yep! The multiplayer mod (ETS2MP) is well done and fun, and SCS are still patching and adding to it - they just put in achievements.

Worth watching it on YouTube to see Sean, Jake and Scoops in the flesh. And Jeff's crazy eyes.
