    This just got dropped onto iOS for 10 bucks. iphone 4s and up. While obviously ipad is more ideal, I wonder how squinty it would be to play the iphone version. Games like this would make a 6 plus almost worth it.

    I've decided to make my fancy dress party an "American" style one. As in, dress in whatever you hell you like, but try and keep it slightly evil

    I just want an excuse to wear a large hat and lord over my guests. I already have the hunch back stoop going on...its perfect

     

    All the Muttley teddy bears look really cheap and nasty so i don't think i'll bother

     

     

    For a split second before the gears in my brain churned, I thought it was waluigi..

    I'll chime in for the Pro Ryckert camp here. At first I was like who's this guy who sounds like a dumb Norm McDonald, then for a few podcasts he just added to my lack of like. But then the stories came in like how he wanted glasses as a kid so he failed and I laughed because it's so dumb. He reminds me of Howard Stern show member and infamous metal drummer Richard Christie. I find his views so intriguing and I'm just taken back by what comes out of his mouth. That I find myself laughing out loud a lot. That's something that hasn't happened since Ryan died. 

     

    I would pay for a membership if I could get a camera following him and Danny O'dwyer going to Kansas for Thanksgiving.

     

    He may be 100% just like that, but I also think he gimmicks it up for the show and his personality, it's a personality driven site as mentioned. He'll probably be divisive going forward but I think it definitely brings a spice to the show that was sorely missing for a year.

    As I mentioned in #idlethumbs this doesn't seem to be the type of game that an established studio should take on with long term goals of hoping it to becoming successful. Usually these types of games are small affairs until they blow up super huge ( if ever ) or one or two man teams toiling in their apartments i.e. Gnomoria ( which is great )  

     

    While the concept itself is unique and would of been cool to see it be a success, it seems like the cards were stacked against it.

    I did watch the gameplay trailer and it looks bananas, but I really want to make more axe body spray jokes, and throw in a so this is what my chemical romance does when they're not touring jab in as well. That being said looks pretty cool. Are chocobos going to be relegated to some kind of power drink?

    I was doing ok for a while, going to the gym every day and making lunch and food is super easy when you work at home and work is pretty much non existent, then I switched jobs, had a baby and now work 10 hour days and when I get home it's baby coddling time in order to give my wife a reprieve. That being said it doesn't excuse the fact that before the baby and when all my job transitioning was going down. I went back to being a voracious eater again, stress eating. I couldn't get full and that lead to an extra 20 pounds getting back on. 

     

    So It's a challenge to find time to even find time to make something decent to eat let alone hit the gym for an hour. I've been trying to wake up at 5 am as I did when I had two jobs , but it's been a struggle. 

     

    This week I've been pretty decent trying to drown my hunger pain in water. It doesn't help the local supermarket we go to for produce and meats has been on strike for the past 40 days and everywhere else has shit for food and costs more. But that just resolved itself, and hopefully sooner rather than later it goes back to normal so I can veggie it up again.

    This could be promising. It might end up being most of the same people I was playing with before. I'll PM the guy and see if an influx of thumbs would be OK with the person running the server.

     

    I'm playing on this server now, I've been playing since about 7 pm est and I've been mostly the only person on the server.

    Thumbs, what are your best home remedies for flu? I can feel a bout coming on and I'd like to head it off at the pass. Maybe get a headstart and sweat it out now with a hot chili meal before the fever dial up gets turned up to 11.

     

    Whenever I start to get sick or am in the throes of being sick, I go spicy. Hot and Sour chinese soup, Pho, Chili Garlic Sricha Ramen, I do that and lots of OJ and juices too. 

     

    I have no clue if that helps but I feel like punishing my body with spices makes me feel better. Plus it opens up the sinuses

    Hello everyone, 

     

    I too got sucked in by the vortex that was this weeks podcast to come check out the forums. 

     

    I'm clocking in at 35 years of age, which for me means I'm too old to deal with the caustic stuff that happens in most online games, so I usually lone wolf it as I have not been able to find a peer group to game with. 

     

    I figured I'd check out this community. As the discussions on idle thumbs most always amuse and interest me.

    For example after the Tf2 economy emails, I started playing TF2 recently just to get a taste of the ecosystem there. During the last sale I bought 5 games only with money I sold from trading cards. ( still trying to figure out the inner workings of Tf2 trading ) 

     

    I listen to lot of podcasts and I love hearing how the video game sausage is made. Idle Thumbs, Tone Control, Giant Bomb, Rebel-FM, Cagcast, sometimes, Three Moves Ahead, Besties and GB Dumptruck as well.  

     

    I love to talk to video games at the same level as someone who's really into films and film making is. 

     

    My gaming genealogy goes something like:

    Atari 2600 > NES > Apple ][gs > TGFX16  > Genesis > SNES >  PC BBS /IRC / QUAKE > PSX > GBC> DC >  NEOGEO POCKET > N64 > GC>GBA > XBOX > XB360 >PSP>DS>  PC  and of course arcades arcades arcades.

     

    I've been trying to teach myself game maker recently and making some progress , but I'd love to make at least one game to give it a shot.
