From what I remember of the info that's been teased out of Platinum games, the touch pad is used to perform some sort of special climax attack. climax overdrive. I think? So I doubt the pro controller will work very well. I just finished WWHD, and it's ace. My only problem with it is that using any button which isn't R for weapons that require aiming is really hard, especially the bow and arrow. This is because the stick used to aim is above the face buttons, so you kinda have to press x, aim, then press x again with the same finger, if that makes sense. As for the bow and arrow, loading an arrow is the best way to get accuracy, as the tip of the arrow is where it'll hit. You can only load an arrow by holding down the weapon button.

Guys. There's one more episode of Ping Pong left This saddens me greatly Although It has been confirmed that this season of JoJo will continue for 4(!) seasons! I really hope they knock out the third arc in the next season and get onto the 4th and 5th arcs. I love those two arcs so much. The 4th arc is great. Much better than the 3rd arc, which is really dull closer to the end of the season, as the plot is just 'go there, fight guy, win'. Although that is very much the plot now, just more enjoyable because of some character growth. On the other hand, anyone looked at the new season? Tokyo Ghoul looks awesome, as well as Zankyou no Terror. Also Space Dandy 2! Yay!

I wonder how many of them will be coming over to the UK? Currently I'm playing Earthbound, as I've never played it before. I don't even have the foggiest idea what makes this game so great, but I guess I'm finding out? Just got to the Happy Home Village and I'm kinda creeped out. Still enjoying it though.

It is. But I can't really say why exactly. The selection of games are maybe a bit later on in the NES's life (Wario's Woods, Punch Out!, Metroid, Dr. Mario to name a few), so maybe it's a bit more enjoyable because they're less known games? It also comes with super Luigi Bros, which is the first game but with luigi. I think the difference is is that people knew what to expect when NES Remix 2 came out. I know I was disappointed with the first one because it felt like more of a selection of bits instead of playing the actual game. I was expecting to be able to play the games in full, alongside the mini games. Thinking about it, maybe that's why 2 is better? The missions are too short in the first one, not satisfying at all? I'm not sure at all tbh.

Fair enough. I would never know how good Rune Factory is as it's looking like it'll never come out in England Cave Story is out on the 3DS. Does that count? Also Monster Hunter 3 is fantastic.

Agreed. Wonderful 101 is brilliant. Although the hammer was really hard to draw. I could never do it right. the transitions of what the game thought you were drawing went: Sword > Gun > Fist > Hammer (for all of 1 second) then back to Fist. I failed so many QTE's and fights in tiny areas where i couldn't draw it properly it just angered me and I quit.

with the mario kart 8 promo, the free game is downloaded from the store. all you need is to redeem the star catalogue code that's in the Mario Kart 8 box online at club nintendo, or if you bought it on the estore, login to club nintendo with the account that you bought the online MK8 version. Pikmin 3 is the best option. I chose Sonic: Lost Worlds, as it was one of the 3 I didn't have. Don't get it. It's super shit. From the story to the gameplay to everything. I thought it would be funny to play a bad game. Even the DLC Nintendo Themed Stages are really poorly implemented. Avoid this game!

Forgive my ignorance, but what's so great about Fantasy Life? The trailer looks like a fairly tame Action RPG with crafting mini games. Nothing amazing or interesting. The art style is cute in the cutscenes, but your actual avatar is just a chibified dude. Am I completely missing something here?

I'd be surprised if Nintendo doesn't announce an Amiibo game along with the figurines. But I could be wrong. I would probably get some of the figurines anyway as they look quite nice. Also, I didn't quite get this, but do you have to put that figurine on the pad all the time? coz putting it on the wiiU controller and playing smash would be a balancing act of near impossibility. Also the fights where it was demoed was always 1v1. So I'm guessing it's either a VS option or only available with 2 fighters. Seems like a bit of a dick move just to be able to summon an ally at a time of need. And especially if he's a high level.

I don't know, Skylanders sold loads. This looks like it does more than just be an additional character in a game. Plus the figurines actually look quite nice, apart from maybe DK, and link doesn't have a face (which I guess is because it's a prototype). Plus the way it sits on that gamepad square thing that I've always wondered what it's there for seems like they've been planning it ever since they pushed out the controller. And it's cross games too? Sounds pretty great to me.

I played X Zone. It's not bad. Fighting mechanic is fun, but gets boring and repetitive quickly. The combos can get really long and boring, you see the special scenes like 100 times which you can't skip and yeah it drags. But it is cool to see everyone fighting and stuff I guess. The story is retarded. And long. I never finished it. There is some enjoyment out of it, the conversations are funny, but require a deep some knowledge of all these games, which is pretty far-fetched as I'm pretty sure some games never even came out in the EU. Like God Eater. Saying that it's the best game in that deal. Bar Push/Fall Blox

Huh, I never noticed that. For what it's worth, I checked and it's 5 Petrified Somethings. Nice. It's been announced that the Binoculars glitch will be patched in v1.03, which will ruin speed runners as they've managed to use it to get the run down to just over 20 minuets. Which is insane. Check it out: As far as I could tell, this mainly requires 2 glitches, the Binoculars glitch and what looks like some no-clip glitch achieved by parrying enemies and then rolling into them when they fall. Super interesting.

There was an announcement on Dark Souls 2 Facebook page saying that there is a chest with an item placed in the basement of the Majula mansion in celebration of the new DLC. Apparently the item in the chest is going to change weekly? Anyone played today and had a look? I'm guessing it's in the same chest past the map, in the crypt?

Fuck. Yes. I was going to mention it, but as most of it's done by The Latch Brothers a.k.a The Beastie Boys, and they seem to only be on the JSRF OST, I chose to ignore it. Although saying that, this song hits the nostalgia zone hard: Seriously Sega, re-release fucking JSRF already. I don't care if you don't have the OST rights anymore, JSR was still awesome even when missing 30% (?) of the sound track.

There's like 3 endings to Cave Story. If you managed to get to the hell ending without a guide, I'm impressed. You have to jump through some really esoteric hoops in order to get that ending that I never figured out on my first run. You can just finish the game without going to hell (even if you got to it) if you just keep going left after killing the core.

A bit lame, but the Hotline Miami sound track is pretty much all songs that were already released but no one had heard of the artists. This was the most memorable part of SR3 for me. I also loved when they played the same song in the ending credits with a medley of all the voice actors singing over the same song at the same time. I then felt instantly sorry for the person who played Pierce, as it meant he had to do that bit like.... 8 times and try to sound like he was enjoying it.

MK8 has improved the grind somewhat as completing a cup on 150cc also gives you the same cup for the lower cc's. If that makes sense. Of course I found this out after I'd done 100cc. XD Can you play 4 player on Super Circuit? I didn't think you could. :/
