Huh. I've been watching Sound! Euphonium too, and I don't think it's all that good :/ The animation is of course excellent, and I'm guessing a lot of the band playing is rotorscoped, but the story is really dull, there are more annoying charachters than good ones (so far the only one I've liked is the girl with glasses), and the main girl is just annoyingly depressed over everything, which are usually minor little things like 'oh does she like me or not'? And then as soon as one thing gets resolved, she then makes up another stupid reason to be sad. It's certainly not the worst thing I'm watching this season (that award goes to Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon? (Which has been shortened to Danmachi)), but it's by no means the best. So basically daily lives of highschool boys?

Where does Iceland fit in this demographic? for me it's like Morrisons > Tescos > ASDA > Iceland > Aldi > Lidl. Talking about supermarkets, I was in my local ASDA the other day with my gf when a very excited middle-aged woman rushed up to us to inform us that ASDA over ordered the spare ribs, and that they're going for a pound, and she's so excited she's just off to get another trolly. I mean, she was right, and we then proceeded to spend £6 of ribs, that were huge and each packet of ribs served 4. This would never happen down south. I love the North. Leeds 4 Lyfe.

Maybe GTA V or The Last of Us: Remastered? -
So you either go to super posh supermarkets or Lidl? As you're from Manchester, I'm going to suppose the latter. *regional burn* Honestly, I went into Lidl the other day and it was like going into a visitor's room in a prison. We laughed at the creppy cereal boxes and left. Never again.

What the hell is up with spam mail now days? I just got this: Subject: Season 2 DVD, though no press releases listed the exclamation marks in the title when the episode was broadcast. Body: They preferred to fight a decisive battle closer to home. All efforts were thereafter focused on evacuating casualties from the battlefield. Electrical Co of Trafford Park, Manchester. The membership is centered on an agricultural cooperative near Holden, Missouri. A world that is very scary and unwanted for many rural families. Due to the small size pollution occures at times even through fresh water supply. The last ships, in what amounted to each element of three ships, were given the altitude with the most favorable wind. Swift Heart Rabbit staring at the Spirit's spell possessing a tree. New York harbor, then took part in the transportation revolution, from steamboats to railroads.

You can only play games on the game pad which support the pro controller/Gamecube controller. Which means so far the only games that you can use the game pad for is Pandora's tower and Sin and Punishment 2 (Which is coming out tomorrow, and is fucking ace) Whilst I'm on the topic, this only works for VC games. Getting the disk copy of S&P2 did not allow me to play it with a GC controller or the Gamepad. Rumors are that you can play games which support gamecube controllers with the GC controller, providing you have the adaption cable. As S&P2 is the only game that supports GCC right now, I guess I have to wait and see if this holds true, because S&P2 feels really well geared to the GC controller. EDIT: Damnit JKO! Oh I disagree, they're vastly improved over Xenoblade, where they just look weird. Admittingly they're not out of the generic anime design that looks like a glorified MMD, but it's still an improvement.

Oh cool. So kinda like the Jubilee? I have the same pre-emptive feeling for when the british national anthem changes from Queen to King. I mean, it has to be soon right?

The higher your insight, the faster the frenzy meter increases. If you're having difficulty with frenzy, reduce your insight. There are also a bunch of runes that can increase your various resistances. There is one area that I've noticed that has fast poisoning -
Oh awesome! Well done SG! I hope I get to point at said prints some day and say 'I know the guy who made that... Kinda'. How come there's no money involved? Are you not paid per print or something? What is King's Day? It looks like a lot of fun!

Some guy in Manchester has gotten pissed off with the huge amount of potholes in the area and has started drawing cocks around them, with the affectionate tag 'wanksy' The amazing thing is that it actually works:

I have to also say that ASA is incredible. My only criticism is that there's maybe not that much for everyone to do when you're playing 3 player coop. One guy drives (pilot), one guy shoots and points a flashlight (Science Engineer) whilst the guy on the touchpad has to control the engines (Engineer). It is a lot of fun. There are some real eureka moments though, which are a real blast to discover. A majority of the puzzles that need solving are based off of your engine output. Every alien artefact has a range in which they react, and doing so usually kills/stuns you, meaning you have to start again. However, the alien artefacts only react if one of your output gauges (there are three different outputs, sound, electricity and heat) reach over a threshold. Which means the Engineer has to re-allocate resources on the fly such that you don't get shot. One particular highlight was a particularly nasty artefact that was super responsive to sound. Nearly every output generated too much energy to pass through him. We were stuck for an age. Then it clicked. 'Nick, go full throttle at it' 'why? We'll just die!' 'Trust me, I got this'. as he put the gas on, just before we hit the artifact range, I pulled off my master plan: I turned our engines off. Gracefully we crashed and rolled into the floor, passing the artefact's range and letting us continue our adventure. What a game. I got this. I don't have much to say, as I've only played it for an hour or two, but a few early pro's and cons: Pros: Can play with game pad Feels like a more RPG version of Shadow of Colossus Cool world and story Cons: Weird Gift-giving thing to blatant love interest, which is a tad creepy.

I hope it goes real meta: "It looks like you are writing some erotic fan fiction. Would you like any help?"

Now onto the real pressing matters. The hard hitting shit that no-one in the white house is brave enough to tackle: The top 5 Tea Brands. I'm not talking about your fancy Betty's or T2, I'm talking about shit you get at Tesco's. But not marks. No one shops at marks! Anyone who disagrees with this is wrong. Hey now this game is actually coming out today! Who's going to give it another go? I'm definitely going to re-download it after being a bit burnt out from the early EA. I hear they've added a load of new stuff, which is exciting. Including an involved story mode and like 6 characters? Crazy! -
Idle Thumbs 207: Buble Bloodborne Bloodbeef

Agreed, Ash lake should really be below Old Anor Londo, and the forbidden forest doesn't get to the same vertical height as Sen's. But it's still a sweet picture. Listening to the pod, I thought Father Gascgoine was pronounced the same was as the footballer. I also thought it was a Scottish name. Also in regards to the fight, in case Danielle still has problems with the fight: -
I haven't played Heavy Bullets for a while, but it's really good fun. The limited ammo system is a really neat idea, and I liked the way you had to pick up the bullets after you fired them. Also when I last played, there was some permanent stuff going on through the gameplays. I haven't played since it got out of EA though.
