If I don't catch you tonight, it may be Monday night or Tuesday before I can get online. I travel for work and I can never tell if I'll be able to get my system to connect to the wifi in the hotels. Some even say they are a Nintendo zone and it still doesn't seem to work. Anyway, I know you said not Thursday, but I'm off tomorrow, so if we could arrange just a few minutes Thurs later in the afternoon or sometime in the evening, we don't have to do anything but one of us go to the other's town long enough to click on the BFF and message system and we'll be done. If that's not possible, I'll try to get online at my hotels over the weekend and just try to catch you on here. If none of that works, I can definitely do it on Tuesday, we'll just have to work out a time we can both be there. ::whew:: Shammack is right, Nintendo doesn't make this very easy.

Do you mean "tips" as in people pay you to let them come sell turnips at your shop for a high price? I never thought if that...if people are willing to do that, then I guess I'll have to pay more attention to what they're selling for...

Twiglet, what time zone are you in? I'm on the east coast and have nite owl ordinance. I usually play some everyday, but the amount of time and the time of day I play varies based on my schedule. If we can work out a time to play, then we can at least get on each other's BFF list. Then, when we're both playing it'll be easy to get together.

Justin: Three little words that may help you decide the guilt is worth it: TWICE THE STORAGE And if you decide you're comfortable with that, you can keep going and max out with the four houses and four times the storage. I've personally never done more than two and I didn't play the second one as a completely out of sight slave. I made my second character a boy, so I could have a house with all the robot, sci-Fi stuff and let him wear all the cute boy clothes. I never played him as extensively as my main character, though. WAY too much time involved to do that. It's just a matter of how much time you want to take away from playing your main character to play the new one. You can choose anywhere from out of sight slave to equally developed. I also usually don't get into the second character until my interest in the first starts waning.

We have to exchange friend codes and then you still can't just join someone already playing because of having to open the gate. You can either leave a note here asking if anyone wants to play and keep checking back while you're playing to see if anyone wants to, OR, when you're playing with someone, you can click a heart by their name to make them a "best friend". If you both make each other best friends AND you both turn ON the feature to message best friends, THEN you can just send each other messages while you are playing and ask each other to open gates, etc. Once you find someone you like playing with, that's the easiest way to arrange playing together. I also play strange hours. I'll be happy to add you to my friend list. Just please don't do damaging things like chop down trees, run a lot, etc. I will do the same for you. We spend so much time making our towns like we want them, it's a little scary letting people we don't know run around in them. I'm hoping to make some more "best friends" so it'll be easy to get to each other's towns. If anybody else wants to get in on the "best friends" circle, maybe we could get a group together that will respect each other's towns and just all have fun playing and trading together!Justin Leego Today, 03:45 PM That's a fair point! On the subject of house extensions, I wish you could have a separate holiday home by the beach. I've just had my first house extension done and kind of wish I'd perfected the small living space look. Bigger is not always better, right? Another of Tom Nook's lies. Also, you can make a new character to make your holiday cottage. You can visit it as your main character, but obviously all the main work has to be done by the new character. However, I've done this in the past and you can either mail items between characters, or you can dig a hole and bury items for each other. Then just dig up and use them. Doesn't work for fish, bugs, etc. but does for furniture, money, clothes, tools, etc. So like if you don't really want to play with the new character, making money, etc., just have your main character bury money, furniture, etc for the new character. Then the new character can pay off loans and decorate the holiday cottage for your main character to use. Let me know if you want to exchange FCs.

Not a problem at all, Shamm. I really just wanted to see what was for sale on the island. But I DO like playing with someone that I know won't try to wreck my town when I lose sight of them. LOL. This game is so much more fun when you can visit other people's towns. I'm older than most who play this game, so I don't know people in real life who play it. I would also have to agree with you Shamm about the appeal of this game. I love being able to do as much or as little as I like on a given day. I also like the long term aspect. I don't want to solve it all in a few days. I want to look forward to the holidays, new neighbors, earning new tools/badges, etc. There's always a surprise around the corner.

Weird, I've caught several tarantulas but haven't even seen a scorpion yet...

I have an extra: Ankylo Tail I'm looking for a red, orange, or red/white stripe wetsuit.

Is anyone else trying to collect all the wetsuits? I have 5 so far, I believe there are 8. If anyone else is collecting them, we can post what we need and get extras for each other and trade as we find them on the islands. I still need: red orange red/white stripes I plan to start picking up an extra of the rarer ones as I come across them. If anybody's interested in this, let me know.

I have an extra Majora's Mask. I'd like to have the Fi Mask if anyone has an extra one. Also, I still need pears, if anyone wants to trade for something. I'll post as I get more duplicates.

I went to this town...creeeepy! Also, in the house with the maze made of signs and stools, I went through it to get to the back room, when I got back to the front door, one of those creepy little girls was standing there blocking my path out! I had to keep going through the maze two or three more times for her to move enough so that I could leave. I don't know if it does that every time, but it really added to the creepy factor. I was wondering what the creepy girls were saying, until I came back to respond to this post. Thanks!

Hey guys...anyone playing? I'll be playing on and off for a few hours.

I found this note from another guy in Canada that had a problem, maybe it'll help... So I tried changing my SSID to Bestbuy but I left the security on.....it didn't work.....tried again by removing any security keys......It Worked!!!! Woohoo. I can confirm for my fellow Canadians that you can get the item by doing this from home. I changed my routers Ssid to Bestbuy and removed any security. Then I started animal crossing, went to the post office and asked for a gift.. Simple as that I also saw a post somewhere about people in the uk using a different name than bestbuy. If the above doesn't work, I'll see if I can find what they were using.

Sno, sorry I missed you last night. I still need peaches and pears. Maybe a few oranges if you have a lot. I only had one orange and the tree isn't fully grown yet. I think I have all the other fruit except the persimmons and bamboo, but that'll come with the garden store upgrade. If there's anything you need, I'll see if I have it. My latest expedition is trying to get all the wetsuits. I have 3 so far. I think there are 8. I just went to the Best Buy close to me to get the clock. I think the guy working back there thought I was crazy. Maybe I'll try it from the sidewalk outside next time. Lol. If you figure out the SSID trick, let us know, it's a lot more convenient.
