Oh man... I remember that swamp. That swamp was a pain in the butt.

Well, last night I finished the main storyline of GTAV. That was a very fun game. I enjoyed the heist missions and actually enjoyed seeing the story play out among three playable characters the way it did. I will probably play it more just to mess around a bit.

...I have no frame of reference for club promo videos, or even clubs themselves as I've never been to one, but this did absolutely nothing to make me want to go. Which I assume would be the intended goal of such a video.

At first it made me really excited! Then I remembered I will still never be part of a space exploration team so I got sad again and ate a potato chip. ...I love chips.

I kind of hate seeing the "What do you mean its more work? You're just being lazy!" mentality surrounding the original justification. Designing characters and creating the assets isn't a simple process that takes an extra half hour at the end of the day. I feel like a lot of people complaining about it don't realize that these things are planned out well in advance and take time to make, they don't just magically appear on store shelves one day.

Man... I don't know if its because I kept hearing about it and was expecting it, or if games really have turned me into some heartless monster, but the torture scene did nothing to me. I finally got to that part a few days ago, and I had zero reaction to it, it was just another thing I had to do to finish a mission. Some button presses and stuff, so I can move forward. Looking back on it I kind of feel bad because I didn't feel bad... in my mind at the time it wasn't really anything but an obstacle to get past.

Also a shooting in Vancouver earlier today, 3 people shot (one cop, the gunman, and the first guy the gunman shot)/

Honestly, as someone who didn't get to experience Grim Fandango originally, this is awesome news. However, as someone without a PS4 or Vita, my excitement dropped back down immediately. Oh well.

I was so glad to see Sniper Elite being free. A friend bought the game last summer, and we both had tons of fun with it. ...the slow-mo kill cam is probably my guiltiest of guilty pleasures in gaming.

Well, there was one time a guy with a rifle was wandering around town while I was in high school. The school went in to lockdown. Of course this was the one day I was late getting to school, so I couldn't actually go in because they were locked down. Went home and watched TV. Got upset because I got zeroes on a few in-class assignments because inside the school classes continued as normal. Eventually he was caught a few blocks down from where I lived. It was weird.

Sadly it seems that licensing music in games is used for little more than radio stations in most games.

Dammit. Just had a call with a recruiter about a position I applied for a little while ago. When she told me the name of the company the position was for, I misheard her. It didn't sound like any company I had heard of, so when she asked if I had heard of it I honestly said "No." Then in the follow-up email I find out she said Cineplex. God dammit. Also I need to touch up my portfolio and the more I look at it the more I feel like a piece of shit who isn't any good at the one thing he spent his entire life working on. I don't want anything I've made to be in my portfolio, it all looks like crap. Ugh.

I remember there were some EA Sports Rugby games, but I haven't seen any lately. I don't know if they still make them, or if it was something they tried for a bit and dropped.
