Don't worry, even with that dream I still don't plan on ever smoking. My mom quit smoking when I was a kid, so I saw her struggle with trying to quit, and eventually succeeding. I hope you, too, succeed in quitting.

I had a dream last night where I just smoked a cigarette and it was the greatest feeling thing ever. Which is weird because I've never smoked in my life and find cigarettes gross.

Well, the first Sonic game was bundled with the Sega Genesis, so that didn't hurt.

Not *all* of them are like that! Amy Rose... Dr.Robotnik *(but now he's Eggman, so I guess it doesn't count...) ...E-123 Omega... Blaze the Cat... Espio the Chameleon... Vector the Crocodile... And that's just the games. In the comics you have characters like Sally Acorn, Scourge the Hedgehog, or Dr.Julian Snively! And in the TV shows you had characters like Sonia and Manic from "Sonic Underground", or Scratch and Grounder from "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog"!

I sometimes wonder if the trend towards longer movies is a reaction to longer TV shows? Maybe its just because when I was younger I didn't pay attention to the length of shows or didn't watch things other than cartoons, but it seems that as time has gone on the number of shows that are an hour long have dramatically increased in comparison to the number of half-hour shows. Perhaps, in a world where a big season finale story arc can be 2 hours long, movies feel the need to differentiate themselves by being even longer? (Also, can someone who is older than I am possibly confirm or dispute my potentially highly biased theory on the length of the average TV show?)

I just finished Portal 2. (Well, the single player campaign, didnt do the co-op because I am all alone.) Very fun game. Don't really have much to say about it, except for the fact that I'm surprised I managed to avoid most spoilers from the game.

Ah, time for my patented, 100% guaranteed ways to make Americans like you*: Absolutely always wear a cowboy hat and call everyone "pard'ner". Talk incessantly to everyone you meet about how they can improve their political system. Don't ever tip your servers - they don't actually like it. Be sure to point out at the start of the meal that you will not be tipping, so that they can give you the best service possible because they are glad you won't be tipping them. And always correct someone if you hear them say "soccer", whether they were talking to you or not! *Please don't actually do any of these.

Man... I used to play a couple of hunting games my grandfather had on his computer when I was kid (mostly I just remember "Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter"), and I would always think, "Wow, these are so cool, imagine how good and how realistic hunting games will be when I grow up!" And then I look at the Cabela's "hunting" games and think, "This isn't what I wanted. This isn't what I wanted at all."

I have a confession to make. I've never seen Gremlins 2. But I have read the novelization.

So I broke down, but did not spend more than $20. In fact, my grand total for this sale came out to about $17. I got... Portal 2. Dark Souls 1. Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. Fallout: New Vegas.

My rules for watching movies were usually pretty simple... 1) Go as early in the day as possible. A few theatres I've gone to had shows starting at noon, those were perfect. 2) Go in the middle of the week. 3)...but never the first week after the movie has been released. These three tips have prevented pretty much all problems.
