I guess this would be a good place to ask... what is fantasy football, and how does it work? I've heard the phrase a fair amount, but no one I know has ever participated in one, so in my mind its just "something sports-minded people do in movies".

I just watched the new episode of Breaking Bad. I loved every second of it. Oh my god. Now I don't want to wait for all of the other episodes to be released. Dammit.

So I finished the first season of Digimon today. Maybe I'm just really tired, but... the final episode, where they finally leave the Digiworld and have to leave their Digimon behind... I was crying. It was so sad to me. So I had to go watch the first episode of the second season to remind myself they do meet up again later in life. ...yeah, I have to be honest, thats pretty much how card games got played among my friends. Not just the YuGiOh card game, but the Pokemon and Digimon card games as well. (I blame booster packs not coming with any semblance of rules included in them.) If you could give a reason that sounded even halfway plausible, it was okay. It wasn't until I got the Pokemon TCG game for Gameboy Color that I discovered Energy cards didnt get spent making your attacks more powerful...

I think about this every time I lose something in my house. Then I wonder what it would take to apply little... things... to the important things in my house and just have software on my computer (or phone, now) tracking how far and in what direction they are. ...then I realize thats probably more effort than its worth, and that even if I do, I still need to find whatever's missing right now first.

I don't remember much of Monster Rancher, but I know I remember the theme song. And it was great. ...which brings up another point: I am starting to hate the Digimon theme. It plays a clip of the song every time someone digivolves. And in some episodes, that can be up to 6 or 7 times. It gets grating after a while.

So, I guess this doesn't really fit with the other, high quality anime people are talking about here (and I debated posting about this in the Cartoons thread...) but yesterday I discovered that the old seasons of Digimon are on (canadian) Netflix. So, for the past two days, I have been doing nothing but watch Digimon. I made it to after they defeat Venommyotismon and save the real world (so about 40 episodes in), and I just have to say... I am pleasantly surprised. I expected this to be one of those shows that nostalgia had hyped up in my mind to the point of it actually being unwatchably bad (like, for instance, Sonic Underground or Pokemon). Luckily, it's actually held up a lot better than some of the shows I watched as a kid. I also like that there is some sort of overall storyline and goal for the characters, as opposed to Pokemon, which often finds the characters just sort of wandering around. It also has far fewer filler episodes than Pokemon (and yes, a lot of my thoughts are comparing it to Pokemon, which I also watched a lot as a kid, and which I also recently started rewatching). But I just can't help but feel like the entire digivolution and class system (Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, etc) are all just pulled out of the creator's asses and changed whenever they need to just to fit the story.

I'm slowly moving forward with these. Still not sure about a few of them, but I might be submitting my answers soon*(ish) As for the game choices, I don't own any of them, so if I get all the answers the selection works well for me.

So update from my trip to the doctor today: I have an infection in my face brought on by sever razor burn. I need to apply an antibacterial cream to my face twice per day and not shave for a month. I was fine with all that until I needed to pay $56.50 for the cream. Fucking drug prices.

I get a little annoyed at the way some people feel that every critic needs to be some swearing asshole who hates everything. AVGN, while immature, can be funny. But his success has lead to a weird sort of "every reviewer must be at least this angry to review" mentality, and it's a little disgusting at times.

I'm stressed out. And heading to the doctor tomorrow to get these red spots on my neck and jawline looked at. Hopefully I don't need any expensive medicine or anything.

Ive got about 12 right now (I think. One or two I'm not 100% sure about) I love these types of little puzzles, so whether or not I finish them before anyone else, I am really having fun with this,

Really? I didnt know you needed tetanus shots for anything other than nails and animal bites. I once stepped on a nail in my backyard. Thinking back on it, I didnt get any shots, and was riding my bike later that day, so I guess it wasn't as bad as I remember it being?
