That movie really tied the list together.

I quite like "Drop 7 Free" and "Flow Free". (I believe I just have free versions and there are full versions, as both these apps have "Free" in their names... and I know I didnt pay for them...) They're both pretty fun puzzle games that I like to use to waste time. OH and Logic Square. Time just dissolves when I play that one, the big problem is its full of Engrish. (All of my suggestions are free iOS games that I have on my iPod Touch, some of them have been on there for ages.)

...that would be a terrible power for a child to wield. Especially if he happens to find his mother's 'back massager' and uses the power on it. Poor kid, scarred for life.

I feel weird about this, because I still use Hotmail because its the only service I've been able to get "firstname.lastname@" with.

I just finished watching "Odd Thomas", based on the Dean Koontz novel of the same name. I enjoyed it. It stayed pretty faithful to the book (from what I remember, its been a few years since I read the book). There were a couple of points in the movie that felt kind of dumb, but I remember them fitting in better in the book... I dont know if its just that they were actually different in the book, or I didn't care about that stuff as much when I was younger, but it felt like some parts were kind of stupid. That said, my biggest disappointment with the movie was completely removing all mention of Ghost Elvis. ...also, having not heard about this movie's creation until earlier today, I was surprised to see some actors I recognized, notably Willem Defoe (sp?) as the Chief, and Patton Oswalt as Ozzie.

I just want to point out the sticking-tongue-out emoticon guy at the end of my post indicates a joke, because I can't stand the idea of possibly making people I've never met feel bad. It goes double when that person is represented by Erkel in my mind. So if you dont want to hug a cactus, don't! Life is about choices! Some good, some bad. Not hugging a cactus is a good choice. Punching someone is a bad choice. Going to Five Guys for dinner is both a good and bad choice, depending on the time (good during the dinner, bad a few hours later in the washroom)

I kind of wanted to play a Mass Effect game during the whole Rachni/Krogan/Genophage era.

So I've been playing Saints Row 4 lately. This is my first time playing a Saints Row game, so there's a lot of references to other characters and past events and stuff that are just completely whooshing over my head. But, that said... I love this game. I absolutely love it. There's no point in ever really driving a vehicle once you get the running and jumping powers, but that's fine with me. It just feels good to run around at the speed of sound, music blaring, searching for glowing clusters to increase my running and jumping (and other powers). I watched my roommate finish the storyline today, and I have to say, the ending just looked like grand old ridiculous fun. I will not say any more about though, to avoid spoilers. All that said... it feels small to me. In, what, 3 days? My roommate has gotten around 85% completion. I just feel like, with maybe a week of dedication, you could 100% the entire game.Maybe I'm just greedy for content, but I feel like a brand new open-world styled game like that should have more to it.

The last job I got, I had an interview at their local office... on a phone call with the head office elsewhere in the province. So I had to get dressed up all nice to impress the people in the local office, and ALSO have the stress of a phone interview. It wasn't too bad once I found out a)the local boss was the mother of one of my coworkers from a previous job, and b)I was the only person who had applied...

Cacti need love too, man. You're just being selfish.

That's going to be a huge pain for everyone involved. ...on the other hand, its existence was a pain for everyone, so it's a fitting end.

I've heard from a couple different places that dreams of your teeth falling out are very common and almost everyone has them. (I say 'almost' because I still do not recall ever having a dream like that,)

So did anyone else get a chance to watch the new episode last night? I can't believe how tense the whole show is getting.

So I broke out my tablet and drew a little something. I'm still getting used to drawing with the tablet, and I decided to try using Illustrator for the first time ever. So a lot of learning and practice going on here.

I just came here to mention that. Technically, its not free, but its provided for people who legitmately own the software. You can still download the actual files from Adobe with a free account, but you still need to enter the special serial key sent out to people who own the software. ...of course, if one were to search the internet, one might come across these serial keys...

Huh, I've never heard of it before, but after watching the trailer I really want to go see it.

I have a lot of trouble remembering the things I read. I burn through books, but after they're closed I will completely forget certain characters or minor events. I will remember the main plot of the book, and maybe a scene or two, but most of it just gets thrown out of my brain. The same thing occurs with movies as well. I usually do fairly well remembering who is who while I'm reading a book, but I have a very difficult time recognizing different people on TV / in movies. There will be many, many times where I will think I'm watching one character, but it turns out its been someone else the whole time. There are some movies and TV shows (and in some cases even animes) that I cannot watch because I can't tell who is who.

I read almost nothing but fiction (as far as actual books go. I suppose I don't read much fiction if you count things like reading webpages.) I wonder if thats a bit of a waste sometimes. It seems like I've become nothing but some all-devouring entertainment consumption machine. Unless I'm actually working on something specific (like applying for jobs, or actually working at a job) I feel like I'm always experiencing some form of escapist entertainment. Hell, even when I am working I'm sometimes listening to a podcast or watching episodes of TV shows. I sometimes wonder if this is a real problem.
