Game Maker is what really got me started. It was easy enough to use for simple 2D games, and if need be you could always start using the GML (Game Maker Language) to do some more advanced stuff. Also it was (before I was in highschool, at any rate) free to use, so that was a plus. And true, it doesn't prepare you at all for 3D stuff, but... if you're just starting out, maybe you don't want to get into the nitty gritty stuff right away.

Oh, I didn't notice that when I skimmed over the FAQ. That's actually terrible (to me, at least) and a little baffling. I mean, I'm not an engineer or anything, but I wouldn't think adding capabilities like that would be too difficult, right? ...eh, I'm just talking out my ass. They probably had a reason, even if its a reason I dont like.

Thank you for that, I needed somewhere to dump Volgar the Viking and Foul Play. Also... thats a TON of Train Simulator stuff. Wow. Also also... I kind of feel bad for the people who made the games that end up having just hundreds of their coupons go straight over to Trashbot, it's a little sad. Then again, maybe they should have made better games. But I still feel bad for them a bit.

I watched a couple of episodes of Scrubs on YouTube one morning. It was nice, I just stayed in bed, wrapped in blankets. It was a cold morning, it had snowed all night and was still snowing. Then the power went out. And stayed out for 3 days. It was pretty terrible.

Wouldn't it be awesome to have real life Pokeballs, even just for self defence? Imagine you're about to be attacked by like, a bear or something. Instead of killing it, you could just throw a ball at it and have a chance of the ball keeping it inside. Later it could be released into the wild or whatever, but it would provide you with decent safety without harming the animal much.

Is that based on the story by... dammit I forget the authors name. The one where a computer system took over the world and has like five people held captive and tortures them, but also keeps them alive indefinitely for its own amusement? That would be one hell of a weird game.

As much as I would like to get into Spelunky, I have enough games right now and not much money. I'll probably wait for the next big Steam Sale and see if it goes on sale then.
