I don't even speculate. I just play the games I like, and then sell any cards I get immediately. I have purchased several games using nothing but the money from selling these cards, including things like Terraria and Tomb Raider Legend. I'm quite happy with the system right now.

Just picked up Spelunky last night on the Steam sale for around $3 or $4. ...I suck at this game.

I remember really liking the Flatout games back when they came out. All of the minigames centered on launching your driver out of the windshield were fantastic. I hadn't even heard of Flatout Ultimate Carnage until this Steam sale, but wasn't quite interested enough to really look into it.

I don't mean to. Normally, living here is great! (Well, to be fair, I've *only* ever lived in Canada, so I can't really compare it to living in other countries.) Which is part of what makes this all so frustrating: Normally things are quite good, but lately its just been one bad thing after another. Also the water is no longer brown brown, its closer to regular water with a bit of a yellowish tinge now. I've decided to wait for now, since I have enough stuff here to keep me hydrated until I can talk to a building person without calling the emergency line.

...so all of the water in my apartment is now brown. Now I'm wondering if this is enough of a problem to consider calling in on Christmas Day, or if its more of a "this can wait a few days" type of thing.

...aside from some of the smudging, your eight year old nephew has better handwriting than I do. EDIT: I also got a pair of "Moisturizing Gel Socks". (Basically these, but mine are green) I just put them on, and they are so cold and goopy feeling... it's like stepping into a cold pile of mud with your bare feet. And it smells like... I dunno, pine, or something. I can't quite place the scent.

Merry Christmas! Today I shall partake in the bottle of Jägermeister in my freezer while playing Borderlands 2. ...and eventually Pokemon Y, I just think shooters lend themselves to drinking better than RPGs.

I would make a better minor character than a villain or hero. I'd probably be a quest-giver if life was an MMO. ...maybe just a random NPC. "Press B to Jump!"

So, yeah... southern Ontario has been hit pretty hard by that eternal asshole Jack Frost... seriously, everything is coated in ice right now. Portions of Toronto still don't have power (and I've been hearing that lots of people probably won't get power back until this weekend...) Power was out at my place most of yesterday. And today something happened to the water pipes downtown, so I had to be at work while there was no running water (and thus no working toilets... after eating a fair amount of spicy food last night it was like hell...)

I usually listen to it while doing dishes. Or while lying in bed, supposed to be sleeping but not. Or while playing Minecraft/Terraria/Logic Square/Flow Free/Mario Picross.

Got my first paycheck today from my new job! I feel rich! It's only $350, but it's MY $350!

I have a couple of gifts under a, like, 2-foot tall plastic tree my sister bought. Tomorrow my sister and I are having an early Christmas, because I have to stay here for work, but my sister will be going back to our hometown for Christmas to spend it with family. So we're opening our presents to each other tomorrow. I'm a little excited.

I believe (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) that, for the initial beta versions that have been sent out, the controllers have four buttons in place of the touchscreen, which fits with how it looks in the images. I believe the final controllers at release are still supposed to have the touchscreen.
