I don't get how this can possibly ever be a bad thing.

I would totally take that copy of Lead & Gold off your hands, Twig. I have a couple friends who swear that game is awesome.
-
Yeah, I've got a couple mystery cards as well. I'm assuming they're Summer Sale related, since that should be starting pretty quick. ps: I have an extra copy of Frozen Synapse in my inventory. If anyone wants to send some cards my way, it is yours.

Someone put this playlist on youtube or something. I want to listen to this, but I'm not american.

Definitely gonna miss hearing his voice on the bombcast every week.

So it seems pretty easy to participate in the whole trading card thing without spending any real money. Now that there's a decent number of games with trading cards, I've just been selling my cards for games I don't care so much about, and using the proceeds to buy cards to finish sets for other games that I like more. I've completed a couple badges now, and I'm actually up a couple bucks in my steam wallet.

Found out the hard way that this game doesn't support cloud saving, so my desktop at home has none of the progress I've made on my laptop.

I like how all the review blurbs are from sites no one has heard of.

I was gonna wait until it went on sale, but I caved and bought this last night because it looks so awesome. I've played about 4 hours so far, I'm level 23 I think. Still a ton of stuff to unlock, and I haven't even really started exploring the non-castle areas. Super stoked on this game so far, looking forward to getting deeper in.

As a Canadian, the part about the Canadian RTS was incredible. I'd play the shit out of that. (ps: EA, Ubisoft, Microsoft, Capcom, United Front, Bioware, Capybara, Eidos, Klei, Relic, Rockstar, and a bunch more I'm forgetting are all in Canada/have studios in Canada.)

I keep going back and rewatching that gameplay trailer. I am so stoked for this game.
-
I've played a ton of scary games, so I think I could probably get through this without pooping too much. If there is demand for a narrated playthrough, I will oblige. Either way, this is definitely a day one perch for me.

I have acquired a copy of this game, finally. If anyone wants to get some Ship games going on, I would be down.

Fortunately, it's generally shitty games that have shitty communities. Avoiding Call o' Doot Doots goes a long way towards avoiding those sort of people. I've played a couple hundred hours of Forza on XBL, and have generally had a pretty good experience. A lot of the Forza community is European, which may or may not make a difference, but everyone I've regularly raced with on there is super polite about racing clean and not being a dickhole on the lobby chat.

Then it's fucking complicated.
-
Not complicated. Person on pull side opens door and lets person on push side come through. Always. Done deal.

I also totally had an R4, and it was awesome. I don't normally pirate games, even on PC, but hot damn it was awesome to have all the DS games show up on rom sites on launch day and just be able to play them. Is there an R4 equivalent for 3DS?

Video games = playing Dreamcast. A sentiment we can all get behind.
-
Seconded! Put up another one of those Unity web player prototypes with all the new stuff in. We will test it!
-
Who was it in this thread who was working on that wacky PVP jet fighting game? Has any progress been made on that? The prototype was pretty fun.
-
Deadly Premonition is the The Room of video games.
-
Just looked at my Steam. Twig is correct, no PC cheeves.
-
Yeah there's definitely a big 80G achievement for beating the game without firing a shot, if you play it on 360.

You mean the interviewer who was working for the site providing Spike TV's coverage? The TV station that was paid off by Microsoft to NOT show the Sony press conference? Yeah, I bet he was really pitching hardballs at the Microsoft guys. (Man this post is snarky. It was intended to be snarky towards Keighley and co., not towards you, Tegan.)
