My high school sex ed class had tips on oral sex, examples of alternative relationships and a thorough legal explanation of consent.

Idle Thumbs 105: XCOM Obama

You could try using some of the modifiers on classic iron man. Some increase difficulty, others just increase randomness. Impossible is for crazy people. The hardest thing about it is Sectoids have four health instead of three. It means grenades are no longer the contingency plan they are on classic. -
Idle Thumbs 105: XCOM Obama

I never rename my recruits, it feels too dehumanising, What I do do is give special armour to squads before sending them on particularly dangerous missions. It lends a sense of history to the soldiers and makes it easier to remember who has fought side by side. -
That is a one man lander, who took the photograph? Hoax!

Your physics is drunk. I've had no problems with the update. Do you have any screen shots? I've never seen a skycrane in action. My Apollo vision quest made a massive leap forwards today. The new large rocket makes a perfect second stage. The lunar module sits in the second stage allowing the command/service module to flip around and dock with it in orbit. This distributes the load more evenly and prevents catastrophic torque wobbles. My only problem now is the two man lander is really thirsty. My Michael Collins had to make the lonely journey home alone after the lunar module ran out of fuel during assent and buried its crew on the Mun.

Maybe they are hoping the XBone generation will last for another three decades and by that time 1 billion will be a tiny percentage of the population. -
Does that depict the Canadian portion of the ISS or a terrifying space weapon?

Keeping a command module in lunar orbit while sending a lander to the surface is my white whale. I never have enough fuel and end up barely Apollo-13ing my way home with RCS thrust. The new slimline one man lander could help.

I'm not sure, I don't think the dog simulation is that high fidelity. The dog is actually used in a few Arms mission types. I believe there is one in which patrols search for mass graves using sniffer dogs. Having a mute player with a different information set is probably quite close to a human/animal interaction.

Flags are the best addition I could have imagined. I'd like to be able to apply them to my rockets though. I've just been messing about with the new docking ring and crew capsules. The large docking ring is much more stable. An Apollo/Saturn V style mission seems far more feasible.

Neither, but the Arma group ShackTac sometimes run an interesting zombie survival scenario in which one person plays as a dog. Their abilities are limited to barking, biting zombies and mild night vision, making them about as useful as a real dog.

Have dogs been added to DayZ yet? I know they were promised a while ago. The loneliness and desperation of the typical life in that game could really help build a bond with a living thing that doesn't hate you.

The future of video games turns out to be the booty clapper. -

When playing a 360 game online without a headset the voices of other players come out of your TV speakers. Surely "Xbox off" will be the most hilarious thing to shout. -
Characterising your neighbours as pets is terrifying, you should be locked up. I think it's hard to think of examples because pets aren't very functional in the real world. When animals are put into games they are usually given some utility beyond companionship, making them more like pack animals or livestock. That said horses are usually the easiest video game animal to become attached to. Red Dead in particular did it well by making you invest time and effort into finding and breaking the horse before riding it.

Xbox One looks about the size of Xbox the First.

Yeah, it was dumb presentation for dumb people. No body is claiming the Big Dogs are waiting in the wings to eradicate video games.
-
What I get from that is console games have remained exactly the same for the past decade while our terrible media future strides forwards. The PC is pretty great.
-
Hmmm... Who was that for?

Highest fidelity dog.

TV, wave of the future.

No, a sports game engine. Thrilling.
