Walking Dead, Mark of the Ninja, Bioshock 2, The Cave vets form Campo Santo

Parked Domains are usually spammy sites owned by domain squatters, so that's why they are usually blocked. It's not uncommon to see semi-new domains still tagged that way. Anyway, that looks like a Cisco IronPort block page and I happen to administer some of those so I submitted the domain to Cisco to be reclassified. Should take about 24 hours to go through. -
It's like this weird bar food made with french fries and cheese curds. Canadians love it.

Perfectly fine if you don't want to allow it, but I was wondering if you could also whitelist my son's account - Andrew10241. He's 13 and generally just wants to play on a nice server where he doesn't have to worry about people tearing his stuff down. -

My ID is jeremywc if you don't mind whitelisting me. :-) -
I really like endless runner style games for pick up and play. I've been playing Time Surfer and Punch Quest lately, which I got off one of the recent Humble Bundles. Rayman Jungle Run and Wind-up Knight are also pretty good; I've played both of them to completion. Also, Nachimir mentioned A Ride into the Mountains a few pages back. Get it. It's a beautiful game. Probably my favorite mobile game I've played this year.

*MINIX. A thousand neck bearded nerds will surely descend upon you for your transgressions.

It took them a couple of seasons to find a good rhythm and tone that seemed to work. They start to find their stride in season 2 (The Measure of a Man is one of the best episodes of the series) and by season 3 it starts to get really consistently good. I've been working my way through the shows in chronological order and just got to where DS9 has just started and I'm really excited. I totally missed DS9 when I was younger and so far it seems like it's off to a good start.

Who wouldn't want to go to a "Jake and the Remosexuals" concert?

I've done extensive research on this subject and let me tell you, this kind of humor is always timeless, classy, and appropriate. It's up there with sick yo' mama burns.

You've seen the blockbuster movie experience, now witness it first hand. Coming this summer, 12 Angry Men: The Video Game.

It's amazing how much of that can really boil back down to "act like a mature, emotionally stable adult." :-P

People fight. Some people fight angry. Some people fight calm and collected. Not all conflicts are equal and not all conflicts are solvable the same way every time. The audience matters as much as the presenter. Anger is a tool just like any other emotion. Sometimes you just need people to understand your frustration. And anyway, there's been plenty of examples already cited that disprove both the "angry feminist" caricature and all the other arguments you're associating with it. Or, in my typical blunt fashion, I would say you guys are just continuing to drop a load of bullshit. Anyway, I've got another bad joke, now. An objectivist, a nihilist, and a feminist walk into a bar. They all have a drink and bitch about work because that's what people do in bars.

What this thread needs now, more than anything, is more bad jokes!

Note to self: No bad jokes in the Feminism thread.

I don't think Valve has any interest in SteamOS being used as a general purpose OS. There are a lot of companies using the Linux kernel to handle the low level stuff like hardware, networking, file systems, etc. and then layering a customized userland on top to build a niche OS. Their strategy sounds closer what Google has been doing with ChromeOS: building focused experience that does a few things really well instead of building another generalized OS and competing with Microsoft / Apple.

It should be noted that not all denominations of Christianity buy into the idea of the Trinity. Unitarianism is the belief that God and Jesus are two distinct beings.

This is my suspicion as well. When I read the suggestion by Justin Leego at the top of the page, my initial thought was "huh, they're trying simulate defragmenting the hard drive."

I try, some days with more success than others, to hold onto the long view of things. When you consider the full course of human history, the idea of feminism is still incredibly young. I mean, even the broader category of universal civil rights is something that we still have a lot of work to do on. But I believe that my generation is more tolerant than my parents. And I still have hope that my children and their generation will be more progressive than mine. I think the key is to get up every day and continue to educate yourself. Try your best to educate those who you know you can influence. Every drop in the bucket matters. In time, the seeds of progress are nurtured and bear fruit. It just takes time for new ideas and movements to permeate a culture. Sometimes it can take a lifetime. But we keep moving forward. That's what I try to remind myself, anyway.

I'm disappointed they didn't call it The Phaedrus Group. -
Seems a bit cliche and/or angsty to me. I'd rather see Naughty Dog come up with something new. I always hate it when companies run their stories into the ground by trying to force new scenarios into a universe that doesn't have room for them.
